I welcome you to my RUclips channel. Over the years,I discovered that first year students in the medical field find medical parasitology and medical genetics difficult. For this reason, this channel will help medical students to have a full grasp of basic topics in medical parasitology and medical genetics.

God bless you Sir
This is so explanative Thank you sir
@linda-luna Thanks
@DrTempleUche but sir during this whole process what does the immune system of the host does to fight it
@linda-luna The immune system continually works to counter these strategies, but in some cases, additional help (e.g., antiviral drugs or vaccines) is required to clear the infection.
Additionally, Why Does the Virus Sometimes Succeed? Despite these defenses, viruses can evade the immune system through: Rapid Replication: Overwhelms the immune response. Immune Evasion: Viruses like HIV and herpes can hide within cells or alter their antigens to escape detection. Suppression: Some viruses suppress host immune responses (e.g., by inhibiting interferon production).
Do you understand now?
Thank you so much Sir 🙏
