I had a 100% succesrate by washing off seeds, peeling a small part off the outer layer, leaving in moist tissue in ziplockbag in fridge for 3 days, then seed in moist soil in terracotta pot, cover with plastic so as to keep it moist, sitting the pot in a bowl of water every 3 days for 10 minutes. This was in summer , inside a window in the Netherlands.

Quick question please: Why does it get a bit dense(or wet)on the bottom of the cake when it’s baked without a Bain-Marie but perfectly baked when I use a bain-Marie. Am I doing something wrong?
@@Original-peace I don’t have that problem. Is it maybe your oven not evenly distributing heat, because that’s what a Bain-marie does, it creates gentle heat around the cake for even baking.
