Top Thrill 2 opened in May 2024 after it was remodeled from Top Thrill Dragster. But it was only open to the public for like 2 weeks and then they closed it because of mechanical issues. They are currently fixing it, but it has not reopened yet.

They use the moonlight to guide them at night, and the white flashlight light confuses their directional instincts is what I’ve heard!

OMG! You are the first person to point out that I called in Millennium Force by accident! Whoopsies! I LOVE Magnum! It opened when I was young and it was epic when I rode it at age 12 in 1992! It was the tallest coaster back then! Sorry to disrespect you Magnum! 🤣

Haha, that is true! Although they do have 3 trains on the track at once. One unloading people while another is loading people, while the third is actually riding the track! So it’s actually very efficient the way it’s set up!

This looks way more intense than Ka.

@@Buckeye2043 only cause it goes backwards. The ka launch is unmatched. Almost 130mph in seconds

Hi Mitch, I'm very ashamed and I owe you an apology for fibbing. Due to my health and the development of my extreme anxiety which wouldn't allow me to drive to Cedar Point by myself and stay for 3 days at their hotel. When I found your site, you were a true coaster lover like myself. The last time I went to CP was in 2002 when "Wicked Twister" was the new premier coaster. I don't know why I was untruthful other than the fact that I found your site, saw that you might be part of "The" family and I wanted to be liked as a friend a fellow coaster lover. Mitch please find it in your heart to forgive me for fibbing that I had been on all the coasters after "Wicked Twister" debuted. Mitch I haven't, Wicked Twister was the newest and last coaster that I rode. If you can forgive me for fibbing I will be forever greatful. I am very sorry Mitch. Please don't let my fibbing turn you off enough to stop commenting back to me. I will always support your channel. Again please forgive me for wanting to be an up to date CP goer. I haven't ridden any of they're coasters since they debuted Wicked Twister. My big dream is to go back to CP before I get too much older to ride the rides. I would love to ride Steel Vengeance since they have refurbished the track from the very bumpy Mean Streak. Again I deeply apologize my friend. Thankyou in advance if you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Awesome!! I LOVE Diamondback and Kings Island!! I love coasters in the dark! They feel so different!…I hadn’t been to Cedar Point in many years either until 2 years ago. It’s sooo different now! Go sometime soon, you’ll love it But wait until Top Thrill 2 reopens!

I actually loved this new version! Yes the first launch is a bit slow but that’s cause it’s building up momentum to shoot you up backwards which feels pretty epic! Then the third launch is wild! I hope it reopens soon so everyone can experience how awesome it is!!
