I have a grandfather clock

My maternal grandmother still owns the same Trend by Sligh long case clock that she and my grandfather purchased back in 1972. They got a more interesting pendulum for it when I was a toddler. The upgraded pundulum has kind of a design like a lyre on the bob and a 7-wire rod from which the bob hangs.

that was hilarious. noone could figure out why you werent deploying hardpoints. I had spent all my money getting across the galaxy and when i got to the last space station i rammed the exit on my way to the battle.....busted my ship and i only had enough credits to repair to 75%.... I went after the "Competent" guy first and had him on the run, but I slammed my ship into him by accident... BOOM.

@HLD452 You're right! That eHow article told me about the "minute hand bushing", which I didn't know existed. I removed the minute hand, held the bushing with pliers as I rotated the hand around the bushing, and replaced the minute hand. It works great now! Thanks much!

I think you should look in the Internet about the problem. There are solutions there.

@gsak503 Does the strike sound on top of the hour? If it does, the hands are set correctly, but your clock's hands chime a few minutes after the hour or quarter. Look in the Internet, I know there's something in there about that. By the way, can you post a video of the clock with the minute hand and chimes out of sync so that I can see it? Only if you can.

@HLD452 The time was arbitrarily set in the video, and I was manually-triggering the chime. Realistically, with the time set correctly, it seems like the minute hand is a few minutes misaligned. I just tried to adjust it, but the shaft it is mounted on is square-keyed, so I would only be able to move it in 1/4 hour increments. Any suggestions? So, in summary, the minute hand and chimes are a few minutes out-of-sync.
