Mountain Biking and Bus Life in Colorado

I am sticking around in Colorado for this video where I ride some really good single track. Experimenting with some short POV GoPro footage without a gimbal, I hope it's not too nauseating. Also experimenting with shorter videos to increase audience retention. 0:00 - Bike ride 2:45 - Chores and other stuff

Solo Backpack Hammock Camp and a 4 A.M. Hike
Chuck Norris did that no joke
People always show the skill after it is learned, when they already are accomplished. It doesn’t really help. It is not real. You can see how advanced a rider you are.
How did the mechanical reliability of the town and country hold up?
@@sethgsf4120 Fantastic. Although it is no longer a camper, the van is still in the family and running well. Doesn’t have the power it once did, but it has over 200k miles and is a great commuter.
Take your shoes off before entering van and store them in shower caps.
gotta ride in my frist snow storm this week! Its awesome on fresh powder and even more control than on my MTB. I was riding on a 24" so it was a little slow but got it done. NICE on that skinny.
Much better control than on the bike, I agree. Even on my 29. 24 must be great.
can you free mount now? nice looking ultimate wheel
Last time I rode (sometime last year) I could! Thanks!
Hey, your life style is so cool!
Thank you! It’s a lot of fun.
If the seatis horrible, nothing else matters no matter what the advertiser pontificates. If the seat hurts, you wont ride the uni. Like car commercials, they NEVER tell you about the one thing youll always use and need to find comfortable: the seat. Not the junk on the console or even the financing. Youll pay it off someday and never use that financing again but you always have to sit in the car.
Oracle 29'' vs Hatchet 29''?
Haven't had the chance to get on a Hatchet before. Having ridden a 2 wheel fat bike, I would imaging the hatchet would be a little worse on single track or concrete than the Oracle but better in snow and sand. Hope that helped!
@@harrybuscamps makes sense. I just clicked the "buy" button for the hatchet haha. Now what I'm wondering is if it's design can accommodate what can me done on the Oracle (Frame holding up your bags and stuff for long adventures)
@@charlesclintonmd not sure exactly, you’ll have to see if mounting points come on it or not. I think there’s some unicycle specific panniers you can buy or custom make too.
bed looks pretty sturdy ,just two by fours. like it.
I love chryslers. Absolutely obsessed. All the mistreatment and disrespect Chrysler's are getting is absolutely disgusting. They deserve far better. Wish I could see the license plate, because I write down a whole list of them so I remember which ones I've seen. Maybe i can get a photo editor so i can make it more clear at the beginning. Let me know when you're done with your chrysler because I might want to have it.
I love these novelty contraptions. They're so fun. Good for you for braving the weather.
They’re a good time for sure. That was a super bitter winter when I learned how to do that but a lot of fun.
Thanks Harry! Last year I taught myself how to ride an EUC. Only took me a couple of hours to get comfortable enough to go explore my surrounding area along the bike paths. Since then I've wracked up well over 6000 km in my travels. I always end up talking to people along the way and one thing they always ask is, can you ride an actual unicycle? And my answer is yes. For Now. Hahaha.. I decided to buy one and watching video's on what to buy for a first unicycle seemed like a good start.
That’s awesome man! Love unicycles because you can’t really go wrong with a first one. 20-24 inch wheel is the easiest to start on for most but you’ll figure it out on whatever size. Hopefully you get some good adventures on the unicycle too, you’ll meet some great people on every ride.
Hy~ friend. incredible travel~goodbye~)
Very nice!
Thank you!
Nice and simple. Looks like it's easy for you to keep it neat. Stay safe.
Thank you, Al!
I was expecting you to fly away
I did it once, but I didn’t catch it on camera

Thank you very much Jan!
Cool! is that the Dave Canterbury Bushcraft 101 Book?
Thanks! Yes that is Bushcraft 101!
I'm learning trials too. I'm also doing curb hopping and trying to ride on top of the curb for a bit instead of hopping right off. It adds a bit more difficulty and challenge :)
That wood bench top looks amazing 👏 the dinner not so great lol 😆
Thanks! Ya, it was before a race so I just need carbs and the sausage always tastes good. 👍
Bus looks complete enough for me.
Lady cooked sausage and said dinner your fired!
Ok? It’s food, don’t be ungreatful
Are you making mini corn dogs?? Or is it just me having an incredible hankering for some 😂
No, it’s Kielbasa (Polish sausage) it’s pre-cooked so I don’t have to worry about undercooking it.
Shitty
I thought I was going to see a meth lab lol
Nice
Awesum
You say incomplete but that things more complete than my life
ow
Why chop the kielbasa before cooking?
I'm assuming so it cooks/fits better in the pan.
Hell yeah. Kielbasa and hot kielbasa water
That's what he said......
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Does the bookshelf being in the passenger right side block your lane Change view?
It did at first but I cut the top down and it sits nicely below the passenger head rest. Here's a link to the build: ruclips.net/video/5K_wU-0u2N4/видео.html
@@harrybuscamps ty I think it’s pretty cool
Nice job! What are the bed measurements?
Bed measurements are roughly 6'2" (190 cm) and about 2 feet (60 cm) wide. Just estimates but should be pretty close.
@@harrybuscamps ty this helps
Damn really got me there

Another unicyclist who doesn't show you anything useful; he just shows off.
well said info 🤙
Thank you very much!
Are you in heelys?
Cause that’s awsome
I was in 5.10s (unfortunately) 😂 although heelys were a ton of fun!
I see your tires are not that inflated and also does it put pressure on your spokes? I ride a 36inch.
As long as the rim of your wheel doesn’t hit the ground you’ll be ok. Generally the the wider the tire, the more air you’re able to let out. There should be a range on the side wall of your tire that says “minimum psi - maximum psi”.
Having unicycled in public before, the amount of times I have been asked to "do a wheelie" is certainly more than 0. This tutorial really helped.
Yep, after the 100th old man on the bike trail told me to pop a wheelie I couldn’t resist making a video. Glad you enjoyed!
Man, I have the same unicycle as you and the tire is just extremely thin. I can balance on thick tires with no effort, but these are really harder somehow Did you have the same problem at first too?
I usually keep the tire pressure somewhat low. If I pump it up to full it definitely takes a second to get used to. I would suggest not airing the tire up to the limit so the tire doesn’t roll as quickly. Hope that helps!
A new video!
Wow! That's certainly a talent.
Thank you!
I did this once, it had just snowed and I decided to try to unicycle down my road 🙃. Anyways, I ended up on my back.
Falling on you back is always the worst😖!
What do we learn first? Idling or riding backwards?
I recommend learning how to idle. Idling helped me learn how to ride backwards. I’ve also got a riding backwards tutorial from a while ago. Hope that helps!
Cool improvise
Thank you!
Lol.
Love the angled shelf! Saving that idea, thanks!
Thank you!
