I own the 30 caliber Leshyi 2 with the 350mm barrel and the REPR regulator. If i get the largest plenum like the red one you have in this video will it give my gun more feet per second buddy.
Yea depending on how you tune it. Technically the valve regulates the amount of air released regardless of the plenum size BUT in my tests the plenum does make a difference
@blackcreekairgunner yea I have the newest Leshyi 2 with the regulator you can turn up and down with a tool and mine is the 350mm barrel in 30 caliber and I'm shooting the NSA SLUGS the 61.5 slugs and there very accurate but I would like to get more FPS and I can if I turn the regulator up but your saying if I get that red larger plenum that will help so if I get it and turn my regulator up to say 150 bar then will that plenum being bigger also make more of a fps difference buddy.

can you test the small plenum in conjunction with the original plenum hollow .. I know it will make the length of pull longer. but such more can you get?

That one has the same issue as my 640. The center of the image is darker than the surrounding. This is a software issue with the ATN's and I'm not sure why they don't fix it.
There is something wrong with the BCs which you provided. FX Hybrids .30 BC is 0.068. JSB KO .30 BC is 0.09.

NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT. Even with a big bore you need to stay under 100 yards
I have both a 22 and a 30 Maverick. Right now they are both sniper configuration. What are your tune setting and are all the internals stock?

You cant as far as i know. Its a completely different valve.

Hey bud, great videos. Is that the 400mm handguard from edgun shop? U had no issue with the emperor fitting into place? Ive got an extended donnyfl fatboy 2 vulcan threaded an im considering the 600mm barrel w/423.5mm carbon handguard but im not sure if the mod would fit
It is the edgun handguard. I had a custom adapter made to match the edgun moderator. There is about 1/2-3/4” between the handguard and moderator

Love your set up, beautiful; seriously considering the Leshiy for purchase soon. What barrel length are you running? What moderator? Notice you have a tank on your gun. When you fill through the air port does the air go only into the bottom tank or into both upper and lower tanks at the same time? Your scope set up looks amazing also; what is that? 600mm 30cal. Custom donnyfl emperor. It fills the tank and upper reservoir. ATN 4K pro 5-20

You cant compare the two guns. They are both as accurate as your knowledge to tune them

I also wonder if the BC’s are reversed as seen on your video. The manufacturer’s BC for the Knockout is 0.09 and you have it at 0.075 versus the Hybrid slug with shown BC of .095 and the manufacturer’s BC is at 0.07. It would be nice if you can post another video showing us that those BC’s are actually as you have them. Thanks.
Keep in mind that the BC changes with speed and elevation and a lot of other factors. The manufacture PC is just a close reference point sense that BC was generated in a specific area that they ran that number. If you had a lab radar your BC for your specific area would be different. That’s why when we go hunting in different states we resight our scope.
@@blackcreekairgunner I’m always under the understanding that once you’ve sighted in your rifle and have all your sight-in conditioned entered into a ballistic app, the hold over is calculated at a different location once all those conditions are collected and entered into the app or calculator. It would not make sense to resight your gun if you go from say sea level to your hunting area at 5000 feet ASL. That’s why we all pay $$$ for those advance apps like Applied Ballistics or Strelok Pro.🤷♂️ And, who carries their lab radar with them every time they go hunting, right?
Well i use ATN scopes so its kind of like cheating lol. I take a couple shots. Rezero and i let the ATN ABL recalculate my POA at the yardage of the POI then im ready to hunt. Even though technically the bc changes it dosent matter to me since most big game is a 4” shot zone anyways so if im a hair off it still goes down :)
It would probably help for you to talk to a lot of the competitors at RMAC they could explain better. They will all tell you that once you get that big of a difference in elevation your POI is significantly changed.
Of course it would and I’m saying you wouldn’t need to re-zero your rifle once it is done. Your ballistic calculator will do the rest for you where ever you hunt.
How is it that your impacts get higher as you shot them further?
Good question. I didn’t even notice that. I’m wondering if its maybe the shot curve since my scope is sighted in at 50 yards. as fast as that ammo is moving I should probably sight in at 75 that way 50 yards is a little low and 100 yards is a little low. I’ll have to go back and do some more shot strings and check that out.
Curious… how do you get a pressure reading of 29.98 inHg at 890’ elevation? Are you sure it’s not 28.98?
850’ elevation. Pressure at my house ranges from 29.97 - 30.12 depending on the time of day, temp, and humidity
Well I must be getting my physics all messed up but I’m at 30’ asl and my atm is 29.97 inHg. So I’m lost. And everywhere I searched for every 1000’ gain in elevation there’s a 1” drop in pressure so I’m really confused.
🤷🏼♂️not sure. I have a device at my house that gives me all the local info for my specific location. Pressure. Humidity. Temp. Wind. Etc….
I think your device is showing you the “corrected” pressure. However, I’m not sure if it would be correct if you use that pressure in a ballistic app to calculate your holdover. 🤔 This is what’s causing your groups to shoot high down range.
Are you using a heavy slug liner, or is that the STX pellet liner? I'm doing some testing out of my 700mm pellet liner while I wait for my heavy 700mm liner to arrive... Heard 990fps is the sweet spot......🧐

At the time of the video i was using an experimental regulator from Huma Air. It is a great reg!! Currently i switched to the REPR because i like the external adjustment

Correct. All you need is a different barrel and magazine. Quick 5min swap

Thanks for this testing! I was wondering since you are using the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro with the ABL rangefinder add-on, do you use the built in Ballistics Calculator? I use the built in Ballistics Calculator exclusively and I can easily move from pest at 20 yards to 100 yards with the click of the range button! 😃 I also recommend using the ATN X-Trac remote, as that allows me to keep my shooting stance. I put the remote right around the bottle.
Yes i use the ballistics ALL the time. I have a labradar i use to calculate bc so the ATN is super accurate. I also have the ATN Thor 4

I use the ballistics calculator with a cheap muddy rangefinder and it's still pretty accurate out to about the same. 90-100 yards. The only thing I don't like in the ATN is when you try to add your BC in it doesn't let you put 0.045. it will put a .4 or something.
Your right the internal ballistics math is VERY loose. Im not sure why they programmed it that way

Damn thinking about turning my Vulcan 3 down to shoot the 54.5G slugs closer to 920fps. Don’t get me wrong, it shoots amazing at 990fps but I’m only getting like 25 shots per fill. I bet if I turned it down to 920-930fps I’d get like 40 shots per fill maybe more! And it seems these alpha barrels are very accurate with nsa slugs even at slower speeds!

I like the Maverick better then the Impact. Its better in every way and most of all its more powerful. I own a Edgun Leshyi Classic and Leyla in 25 caliber and if I buy another PCP it will be a Maverick or Crown for long distance. Great video.
I just bent the pegs that slide into the hole slightly past 90 degrees.
