Just a question, with the Gooseneck part, once I took it off, I struggled to put it back on the trailer, I noticed when you did it, it seemed to "snap" back in place, yet when I try it, I'm met with heavily resistance. This is my first low-boy DCP I've gotten, is there a special way to put it back on without trying to break it?

Now all one needs is an Ertl 1/64 Farm Country Beef Cattle Set with an actual built-in loading chute.

I drove for them on extra board early nineties they had Cat engines in yellow and instead of the snorkel there should be a big red Air Tank because they employed ingersol & Rand Air Starters to start those big engines

This History is quite inaccurate. Knudsen came to White in 1970 with Larry Shonda his designer from Ford. Created 1st Road Boss. Road Boss 2 came in 1976/77 timeframe. Name went back to Road Boss 1979/80 with a taller redesigned hood. White filed chapter 11 bankruptcy Sept 1980. Volvo bought White Product and factories Sept 1981 becoming Volvo White Truck Corp. Volvo GM came about late 80's. GM was minor owner in this venture. GM was out in 1995 with company being Volvo exclusively bringing introduction of Volvo VN in 1996. Products with White DNA ceased in 2000 timeframe with sale of Autocar name to Grand Vehicle works (refuse truck versions of Xpeditor line which products continue to this day). Final Road Boss was 1982/1983 timeframe. WI/ WC replaced it in 1983.

Would give anything to see DCP 1ST Gear make the Mack Cruiseliner in 1/64 scale diecast.

Some LED lighting, and other interiors would be nice for a good number of 1/64 buildings whether it’s the local repair shop for vehicles or a nice quiet residential structure.

We need to get as many diecast dealers and others to organize a combination toy train, truck, and farm toy show each May at the convention center in my hometown of none other than Morehead, Kentucky. Ofcourse, it would probably be a weekend event, Saturday through Sunday, and it would probably prove to be quite interesting.

Great looking show. It is nice how you advise viewers about other dealers. That is class. Instead of viewing them as competition, you see them as complementary to the overall community of vendors helping one another.

@LoganSteele, I remember seeing a Pneumatic tank trailer of the 3-bottom persuasion in the book known by the title “CARS, TRUCKS, AND THINGS THAT GO!” by the late great lamented children’s author Richard Scarry. Only thing I found confusing was that the trailer was a single axle instead of a tandem axle, and it was painted pink. Also, I noticed that it was being pulled by a single axle truck, not to mention that the author had it labeled as a grain tanker truck for some oddball reason, but a copy of the book itself might just possibly provide some more research under the circumstances of the dilemma. Although, built mainly for chemical and pellet hauling, it wouldn’t come as no surprise to me that some folks out there have used Pneumatic trailers for the hauling of grain before the grain trailer was possibly invented. Doing a video covering the possibility couldn’t possibly hurt nothing could it?!

I guess that they’re phasing out the propane fueled semi trucks.

I definitely would have bought them if they were made DCP Ertl, DCP First Gear not so much.

Too bad that no reviews of the collections of different customers have been done just yet. Then again it’s probably their decision under the circumstances.

@LoganSkeele, I just wanted you to know that the 1/64 1ST Gear 1955 Peterbilt 351 ordered by my oldest son Mac arrived on Wednesday. Ofcourse, he’s got it wrapped up to surprise himself for Christmas. The custom decals also arrived on Wednesday, and they’ll be placed on the selected 1/64 40’FT Great Dane reefers as soon as possible. I think that maybe a certain business from right here in my hometown of Morehead, Kentucky, got some recognition by diecast collectors worldwide. It was a construction contracting company called Jackson Builders, and they sometimes used a 1974-77 Ford WT9000 cabover day cab to pull a lowboy trailer that occasionally hauled the company bulldozer to different projects the company did in its years in business. It would be nice if DCP 1ST Gear could possibly put it out in 1/64 as part of the fallen flags series since we got the word that Jackson Builders was bought out allegedly by their worst competitor Abner Construction. Anyway, all it would take is a possible meeting between the legal departments of DCP 1ST Gear and even the Ford Motor Company to possibly get everything rolling, and hopefully it’ll be smooth sailing afterwards.

@LoganSkeele, Good review by far, and it would be nice if we could possibly get the GreenLight company to make a 1/64 scale of the Winnebago Chieftain RV named the Titanic as seen in the classic 1979-86 CBS medical drama series of “TRAPPER JOHN, M.D.” to honor the classic series’ 50TH Anniversary coming up in 2029, even if it’s in the form of a diorama that shows the Titanic with a 1/64 scale figure of its owner Dr. Gonzo Gates together with his boss, chief surgeon Dr. Trapper John McIntyre as they’re just relaxing up on the roof of the motor home, after a long round of surgery, in the rooftop lounge chairs with a folding stool serving as an end table with two goblets and a bottle of vintage wine, all in 1/64 scale down to the smallest of details. Afterall, I’ve been a fan of the late actor Pernell Roberts since he portrayed Adam Cartwright from 1959 to 1965 on the classic 1959-73 NBC western series “BONANZA”, and his portrayal of Trapper is not to be overlooked hopefully.
