It’s amazing how other professionals undermine peer professionals . I hear people claim that their isn’t enough research to support peers are effective, yet professionals constantly ask patients who their support systems are. Often times people coming into recovery have little to know support if they are leaving a toxic lifestyle, and in doing so need direction to positive interactions. Let’s not over complicate it, positive support benefits everyone.

Still going on in 2022

I'm experiencing this now. I'm the only one in the place without a key to my office. I've been there for a few months now and I'm just getting a phone.

It is a thing of joy and it calls for celebration to be free from bondage of herpes virus after agreeing and using Dr Madida herbal medicine from RUclips. I am glad that this herbal medicine worked in curing me and taking away this virus.

Looks like the peer who appears in this passed away at 31. I wonder if her death could have been preventable through legal drug regulation rather than the comprehensive stigmatization of drug usage and persecution of users in society. just food for thought

Peer support is promising. Hopefully working with the patients is as compelling as having all the things the other workers have.

Recovery from mental illness from a medical standpoint is never achieved since the person "ALWAYS HAS" a mental illness. I have an MBA. I got out of the double sidedness of mental health. I'm just as smart as an MFT

Greetings I am a recovery coach, SMART Recovery facilitator, and a person in long term recovery. I wanted to listen to the message of your video. I stopped listening about two minutes in due to the distracting and annoying background sound track. Think about it for a minute - have you ever attended a training or seminar or a speech where there was a sound track running in the background? During a lecture or a lab in college, was there a soundtrack running in the background? Please consider what you are doing and who might want to listen to your message. Most folks, if they want music background will add it in. Thanks for reading, and notice, no background sounds added...

This is all great info. But, how do you bill for these IDT services? I'm in Louisiana and wanting to know specifically for Medicare/Medicaid. All codes I've found are for private insurance, not gov funded.

peer support is unlike CBT..we are taking over in a new way of recovery. We are the real role models.
