We jetted off to Tuscany to meet Joe Bonito and Rene Creange in celebration of their daughter Cara's nuptials. We flew into Rome, rented a car, and drove up (2 hours,15 mins) to our boutique hotel, Villa Poggiano. After arriving and a short nap, we freshened up and drove to Montefollonica to meet up and have dinner at a fabulous Tuscan restaurant named La Chiusa, with Holly's brother Bill and s...

Deb ❤
thank you jim
Lovely speech, such a talented lady. Well deserved.
my grandparents had a ton of home movies from the 60's and it burnt up in a forest fire in 1980..daggummit
Thats old
I was digging around YT for Weepies live footage, having just learned that they're currently doing their final tour (in early 2022), and came across this gem of a video. I'm sad that I never got the chance to see them live. That just makes this video more precious. Thanks for sharing this very good quality recording, on behalf of those of us who'll never get to see them in person.
I've always been fascinated by the way The Weepies breaks conventions in their song structure. This song has an early bridge, and then goes to a Verse 2. And Verse 2 is half filled with a moment of pause. They just have a really interesting narrative within their songs and I love it.
I smiled for 11 minutes, what a great story and what a great storyteller, thank you Frank
Holy "You Know What!" What a thrilling/chilling story. He dug your lyrics/music. Not an easy code to crack.
This made my day Frank!
My day with bob 75, three songs and other actors, let me hear of one of your lyrics, where is your strength, invites takes, slept, reference, why have you sinned. Left the bar, walking down the street, I'm so lucky, omg, 15 mins of fame, sing keep the message gentle and calm.
Frankie Mfing DaPuzzo... This is awwsome...
Great story, paisan!!
The young Frank at the piano (end of video) looks like Keith Richards.
What a great story! Thank you for this!
Absolutely loved this video. Thanks Frank. I have. a friend here in Perth in Western Australia who has a story about her meeting Bob. He was on a tour here. She was stopped in the street by an American guy with his girlfriend and asked if she could suggest a good place to eat close by - The story, a bit like yours continues from there......... incidentally, she plays guitar and sings but not a fan of Dylan, and she told him that. But it didn't stop a very interesting day unfolding.
Frank - out there keeping it real. Nice
Spent the afternoon visiting BD sites in Greenwich Village. This video really brought everything to life. Thanks, and God bless you!
Hey - I'm a drunk englishman and you gotta be careful of drunkenglishmanism. In his defence, I have been similarly embarrasingly drunk in Greenwich Village - the beer must be strong down there man! Further to his defence I think Bob don't take kindly to sycophants and a little bit of jovial irreverence might not come amiss? Maybe he did go too far the other way though? Great story! KOFR
this made my day. you will always cherish that wonderful memory
OMG!!! What an amazing story!!! Frank what a lucky man you are!!! Thank you for the great story!!!
Thanks Frank for sharing your story. You're obviously a good guy and that as well as your songs was why Bob wanted to hang with you. And it's sweet and self-deprecating of you to use Positively 4th Street as the soundtrack. I was introduced to John Hammond Jr once here in Paris, that was nice. I was also introduced to Bob once too. Our conversation? Me: "Hi Bob"; Bob: "Hi man". Strangely, that was enough for me. I then just hung around while he talked to more important people, just wishing there was a photographer there.
Obviously Bob didn't misunderstand you. I think he took it as a compliment and was just saying don't give him cigarettes, keep them for yourself you don't need to buy his time.
Halfway through I'm wondering if the drunken Englishman was Terry Reid. This must be Frank Dapuzzos 115th dream, but is it ever a doozy!
Took his time storytelling his Unforgettable Meeting with Dylan, Playing music till 5 am. Memories🌹❣️👌
Did any of Franks songs become well known?
What a great story, really enjoyed that Frank👍🎸🇨🇦
I got star struck when he smiled in my general direction at Glasgow Barrowlands ballroom .
I'd be layin on the bed in my room supposed to be doing homework but with early Dylan on and my dad would open the door and say 'turn that crap off'. Dad couldn't understand the words and nobody could but he probably thought Dylan was a communist.
Yeah to be in the presence of someone of genius quality like Dylan would be mind blowing for me. I'd want to soak up every bit of that person I could. I think he likely has many lifetimes/incarnations under his belt doing creative stuff. Maybe he was Shakespeare or Chopin.
I wish I knew more about the sacrifices bob spoke of but I suppose it takes in about everything. Still that kind of poetry doesn't come from anywhere but some higher dimension. And who or what was that entity who came to him in the hotel room? Dylan once said his earlier classics were almost magically written. We see the same sort of thing in the Harry Potter series-how it came to J K Rowling like some higher entity put it in her mind.
no he is a Fugazi, please all viewers wake up, Bob is real .
Authentic meetings remain eternal in the spiritual sphere.
Nice story. Rings true. Congrats to you. Chance of a lifetime to meet a guy who's just a guy.
And he kept saying how good you are !!! Are you sure it was an Englishman, you Americans often think an Australian sounds English ! I'm an Englishman & love Dylan as most Englishmen do.
Bravo! Loved that little story and video. How is this guy Frank today?
Incredible story
Frank, you tell a good story. Thanks for the tour!
"...then it became about five in the morning and I said i've gotta go..." Really? I would've waited for them to call it a night.
Sweet story told by a man with a great memory (well, I guess I would remember a night like that...lol) and wonderful animator. Dylan and John Hammond Jr are two of my fav musicians, so the climax was right up there! Thank you Frank Zulakis.
Frank, did you live in Fort Lee, NJ I in those days. You look and sound like a genuine nice guy That I met many moons ago. Elaine
Wonderful memory. I hope you cross paths again.
Thank you for the story. I have always liked Bob too.
I would have loved to connect with Bob on a real level, not as the icon. That would have been a great day.
I love this guy!
Fantastic story, I realy enjoy of your memmories
Great story Frank. Glad you have the chance to share it here.
