    Hi Jonathan, very happy to see that You are using my model for this tutorial. I would suggest adding the bend modifier and animating it. It should work for such grass models very well, emulating wind gusts. What this technique lacks unfortunately is that You don't have a separate movement for each straw. Cheers

    should I reduce lightmap density for example from 64 to 32 or 16 ? does that improve performance even with lumen ?

    this is not exactly the same to the reference image, i think there should be a splash when the water go out the faucet

    Actually you can't apply the pointcache to a proxy because the polygon count will not match. However, you can export the mesh as an animated proxy and you're good to go. Nice trick, though👍🏿
