Anything and Everything
Канада
Добавлен 25 июн 2023
We are Roy and Freda and we are just having fun posting Anything and Everything we can about Anything we post! Two seniors on the move and staying active. We are posting videos of our travels providing a look at the roads, scenery and providing as much information as we can for other travelers. Also a look at our daily activities, providing how to videos of things we do and have done around the house that we feel may be helpful to viewers. We are not experts and advise that everyone do their own research and decide what works for them. We don't have any fancy camera equipment or drones but we make do with what we have and make improvements as we can. No glitz or glamour, just us! Thanks for watching our channel.
Day 13 - Midnight Dome to Dawson City, Klondyke Millenium and Dike Trail and Commissioner's Luncheon
Traveled from Midnight Dome back down the steep, winding road to Dawson City where the Klondike and Yukon Rivers meet. We spent a good part of the day walking the Dike Trail and learning of the history of Dawson City as well as the Klondyke Millenium Trail. Visited the Farmer's Market, attended the Commissioner's BBQ Lunch, met the Honourable Adeline Webber, 37th Commissioner of Yukon and headed over and up the Dempster Highway where we found a great location to enjoy the rest of the day and spend the night.

On our recent trip to Alaska, Yukon, BC we saw a lot of wildlife which included several grizzly bears. Some people call them brown bears, some call them grizzly bears. Did you volted the 4x4 to the stone?
Thanks for sharing. I watched your video before stopping at Rondeau on my motorcycle for three nights. They charged me $17.13 a night plus tax. I found the staffing exceptional and the campground cleaner than most. I will stop there again if I'm in the area.
@@NotExpatJoe excellent, glad you enjoyed your time there. Thanks for your comment.

That must have been very exciting! Love nature, and boy, you experienced so.much of nature on this trip!
@@barbgilbart7945 It was really exciting and entertained us for hours! We counted 5 hawks in total and at least 3 babies.
Looks like fun in the sun! Nothing !one a cold one after a days journey!
It was such a beautiful day and we got there early in the day so we could enjoy the sunshine.
Very Great idea! That's planning ahead!
It was fun seeing all the signs from all over the world.
Burrrrrr! But a must do in the Arctic!
@@barbgilbart7945 Yes it was one of the goals on our trip
Awesome! Very cool!
We love seeing the wild animals. Highlights of our trip.
Looking forward to seeing your new RV!

Good Luck with whatever you purchase next! Glad the same worked out in the end! Alaska, here you go! Look forward to those travels!
Thanks Barb. Hope you, Doug and Kricket are well.
Thank you for sharing
You're welcome. Thanks for your support.
I thought they said to never run it indoors?😮
You're right. We were in the shed with the big and small doors wide open so lots of air flow. I did comment on that in the video. Thanks for your comments.
@@AnythingandEverythingRoyFreda yes. I commented before I heard you were in a shed. I'd still be careful in there. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
If you use petrol additive, you only need to turn the fuel tap off, and run it on the fuel left in the carb.
@@carllockpick6179 Thanks for your comments. The reason we drain the tank is because we don't know how long it is going to sit before being used again. Fuel stabilizer has limited life expectancy depending on which one you use. Like we said we are old hat and that is the way we have successfully done it for many, many years since before fuel stabilizer became a thing. You are welcome to do it any way you like and we respect your method. Thanks for your support.
@@AnythingandEverythingRoyFreda no problem, I laughed to my self when you said " old hats ' I'm nearly 60 myself. I usually use the 2 year additive, and keep a note, when it went in, if its not been used, ( I run it every now and then ) I put it in the car.
Thanks Freda This is another great way to make jewelry. Frankly it seems to be less expensive and great for beginners like me. ,.
It sure is. Thanks for your comments and your support.
They looked yummy!!!
They were. Thanks for your support.
Much better view!!!!!! Yay for that surgeon!
Thanks.
I can’t believe Roy fell off the ladder & you just carried on working 😂 Great job, it did seem a bit faffy & lots of screws , nuts & bolts, but it looked great in the end, well worth the effort, I wish it was in my garden 👍🏻
I didn't realize he had fallen until after the fact! He did it quietly! Luckily he was not hurt! Thanks for your comments.
@@AnythingandEverythingRoyFreda I was just kidding, it was quite obvious you didn’t know he’d fallen, it was still quite amusing to watch though, & I am glad he was ok. I’ve fallen off ladders a few times myself. I always make sure there’s someone with me now, just in case.
@@susanross1651 I knew you were kidding 😂

Thank you and the same to you three. All the best for 2024.
Omg..you are actually sowing not wire working..oh no. Please fix the issue....you seen so nice and creative...❤❤😮
Thank you for your comment. I am using beading line and this is one way I make jewellery. If you prefer to use wire, that is your choice. Everyone has to decide for themselves what works for them.
😢😢😢...❤😮😮😮❤😢😮 I'm new... I could not follow you at all..maybe I'm use to gals having the camera above them and the project. The clarity is great then. You talk... but ii can't really understand what you are saying..sounds far away ..far far away.. I would like to subscribe but..will❤..you ❤ fix it....😢❤
Thanks for your comments. I addressed that in the next earring video.
Can you send the link for the horseshoe shaped thread protector? Thanks!
Sorry, I don't have a link. I purchased my thread protectors on ebay.ca quite some time ago. There were so many in the bag, they have lasted me for quite some time. If you do a search for beading thread protector or beading thread guard on amazon or ebay you will find them. Not sure if hobby stores carry them or not. Hope this helps.
They are also called ‘wire guardians’. If you just put that into a search engine many online suppliers will come up. Regards.
@@mary-kittybonkers2374 thanks for your comments

Freda this is great I can see everything your doing. Thanks Teri ❤
Awesome! Thanks for your comments. Take care.
Hi, looks like you have great a ideas, but it is too far it's difficult to see...
Thank you for your comments. I addressed that in the next video and hope it is better to see. Thanks for your support.
Freda I watched your tutorial but I couldn’t see what you were doing. I enjoyed your person, If I was new I Wouldn’t be able to follow you because of how far away your Matt is away from the camera. I felt really sad when I saw you didn’t have comments yet , so I wanted to mention the camera thinking that it might be the reason no one has commented. I sincerely hope that you don’t think I am a troll.Anyway thanks for being your sweet self and share yourself with me ❤❤❤Teri

Hi Anything and Everything May I use this on my channel, full credited of course? Where did this happen ? Thanks
Yes you may. It was East of Toronto, Ontario on highway 401.
Your 1" holes are too big. 1/2" at most...and you should have used paver base instead of sand
Thanks for the info. We used gravel for the base.
@AnythingandEverythingRoyFreda you do realize that gravel can explode...right?
Have never had any problems with a road type gravel with small stones in it. Larger stones can explode, you are absolutely right.
@AnythingandEverythingRoyFreda right on! Nice build but I just feel like you made the hole too big. Maybe I'm wrong but I went half that size. Would love to share my idea with you but don't know how to send you pics thru RUclips
The holes may be too big but it was the size recommended and like everything else there is probably a lot of different ways to do it! Working well so far and we are very pleased with the finished product.
Hi ! May I use your clip in my video with credit and link ? What happened before-after this ? Where did this happen ?.
Yes you may. On hwy 401 East of Toronto. No crashes that we know of, just vehicles avoiding the piece of metal in the middle lane.
We haven't been to Rondeau for a few years! Nice park! Still busy in September, WOW!
The weather was perfect that week and lots of people took advantage of it.
Great video
Hi there! We're putting together a new episode, and we think your clip would be a great addition. Can we use it? You will be credited in the description and on the video.
Yes you may
Name works great
Thanks.
Liking you new handle!
Thanks. We think it suits us better.
WOW! A lot of screws! Glad Roy is OK. Not as bad as I expected thank goodness!
No kidding! Roy's shoulder was sore for a while! The fall wrenched the rest of the body but no broken bones! Thankful for that!
Surprised you knew of Little Larry road! I've always found it buggy or muddy. Really like Wild River River NFCG best up there. You were in my home state! Evans Notch is a favorite!
It was quite dry when we were there but buggy being June. Beautiful area.
Lovely countryside! Too bad you didn't find a peaceful state park with hook up and beauty! Almost home!
We enjoy boondocking and don't really look much for parks. We stayed at some parks near the end of our stay in Newfoundland because of the weather and we could run our electric heater and dry out a bit.
Battery Park nice stop over! Some days, we just gotta drive to a parking lot for the night! More great scenery on thebway! Home Sweet Home is in your sights!
You got that right. Few more days to go!
Not a great road to the park! Nice scenery though!
For sure!
You found some lovely, peaceful sites!
We certainly did! It was beautiful there.
Hi Frieda and Roy! We have been camping for the last 3 weeks, so not watching youtube! We are up to date now and are enjoying your adventures and following along on the map! Newfoundland is truly a special destination! Doug and I look forward to going back to see areas we missed first time! Great Job!
Thank you. Glad you are enjoying the videos. Newfoundland is truly a very special place. Thanks for your comments.
I hope you’re doing fine, mate?? Would it be ok if I feature this video for my RUclips & shorts edit? I’l credit you with watermark. Thanks in advance..
Yes you may. We are fine, thanks. We slowed down when we saw the flopping and torn tarp.
Haven't gone north along 389 yet but I though there were a couple places along the crater's edge to camp? One is the Research Center or close by.. The other is supposedly very close to where you camped..
We looked around the crater area for a place and couldn't find much. Didn't go to the Research Center though.
