I lived beside Lansdowne Road in Dublin for a few years. Was great as we got free resident tickets for every event that went on there.

I lived on Filbert Street in Leicester for a year when I was at uni. It was a a few years before they moved to new stadium and the ground was about 100 metres from our front door - it was great. Saw a few good matches including England Under 21s who played there occasionally at that time. If I was in on a Saturday afternoon when Leicester were playing, I always knew when they had scored, but don't remember noise being a problem at all - even in evening games.
