I have a 2010 equinox ltz v6 fwd fully loaded. Timing jumped cuz the tensioner broke. Bad crankshaft and cam shaft position sensors. Bad cv axles, bad o2 sensors and a clogged cat. I still get 600kms per tank and it keeps running. One day ill fix it all or see how long til it does. Also has 224000kms or about 165000miles approximately.

Check a/c belt behind the serpentine belt. That rattle is the tensioner wheel.

The dreaded dexcool loved to eat those intake manifolds and head gaskets. Otherwise, they were a pretty reliable engine. I just brought an 03 ga gt 1 with 32,000 original miles. I’ll be changing the coolant ASAP.
