If that was a deal breaker on the bcm, I'm curious about your definition of "big hits".

I've never had to measure a buffer before, but this bcm was the only one that was obvious by color to be wrong

I built it. The sight is very visibly off center on the rail, you don't need to find another culprit. But yes i can assure you the rails are level and flush between the upper and handguard, by eye and by level. The barrel is centered inside the handguard measured with a caliper from both sides. ive had this sight one this upper and zeroed, moved to another and zeroed, and back this one and zeroed. It also cowitnesses on the other one w aimpoint w tons of windage adjustment. I was SUre It was the sight till i saw it center on upper - which also passes the gauge. I think there is something off about the rail geometry on the bcm, and something about the rail mount that makes it sensitive to this.

Yes ive sighted it in. Youre just going to have to take my word for it. I can't believe you need proof that an offset front requires offset at the rear. The sight should be in the middle, period.

It’s what 2 thousands larger than spec?? You should have the adjustment in your BUIS to take the play out of it ?? And they are back up sights in sure you are going to mount an optic and never even use the buis ever besides the time when you sight them in new… Almost every pic rail I’ve seen from tons of manufacturers are slightly different as long as what you have mounts up tight your good your not talking about a top of line upper it’s a BCM I wouldn’t worry about it if you want perfection maybe get a KAC LMT Noveske or if you want a lil cheaper go Giessele

Why didn’t you install the Gen5 ejector in both guns?

The usage issue is the sites sit offset like a third world piece of sh*t

Just so every ones aware, 3 years later. I just purchased a p365x. I was worried for the same reason when I saw the play. Then I looked at the comments and tried loading a fully loaded mag and boom. Problem solved. OP was just salty and refused to listen to the people who built the thing. And as for the blemish, they said it was shot, could it have been in testing? I know rifles get fired as part of the quality control.

The install AND REMOVAL Are done for the OTHER Side… i’m not a gunsmith and have not installed or removed this pin, but there are plenty of RUclips videos that show the install and removal from the other side.

It's not the first lower with which I had this problem (other brands). I'm not taking material off the whole per se ; there are two holes that are not in alignment and i'm running a new one thru the line that connects the two. I'm just taking away the high spots at the ends, and I'm only just using polish.

No, I did not buy a Blem. I think I'm going to buy the clear anodized lower next. Almost forgot the engraving was biased to one side very visibly totally not an issue. I'm trying to be super forgiving with this because I do like them in principle.

Isn't that a blem lower tho? That box you have is the box that comes when you buy a Schrodinger lower, which is a blem. Granted, it's supposed to be cosmetic blems and supposed to still be fully functional. You can always take a couple of thousands away. You can't put it back. Everything I've ever gotten from them has been 100% on point. Well, i take that back. I had 1 upper that was too tight for an aftermarket charging handle, and he had me a new upper in the mail within hrs. Gave me some options, too, so i got to pick what worked for me. Since he got his new cnc, his uppers and lowers are buttery smooth. Plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you're supporting a small business. I love B.A.D. (Bad Attitude Department.) For the price, you really can't beat the quality and customer service.
