Hmmm, stuff going into the public domain has really been fricked to hell in the last hundred years. From what I can tell Star Wars will not be in the public domain until 95 years after its release date, so 2073. The special additions came out in 1997, so assuming someone was 8 when the special editions came out they would have been able to remember the original releases, which means they will be 84 when those original releases become public domain. Time to quit smoking and wear those seatbelts folks.

As a person who just started getting into mandalorian, I dont know anything about chyber crystal but I think its the Beskar thats infused with chyber crystal, not the other way around because it does make a difference when you say it the other way. I know that chyber crystals are taken from creatures by killing them and Beskars are rare but I think its the Solid part infused with something that moves like chyber crystal. But your theory is good and im jumping onto it.
