WR if cheating is allowed. First ever B2B days with colors lol. Pausing kinda ruins 80% of the challenge and turns a colors attempt into a b13b 100 lines attempt. Might go for game crash with my newfound cheating method. Expect a 19 start or overall "wr" or 2 by me or some other degenerate in the next couple weeks.

I think it was the sound of his rolling, aka the technique where you roll the fingers on the back of the controller to help get higher hertz speeds

The main difficulty is getting enough pushdown points. Alex had a very efficient game, getting lots of pushdown on almost every piece. It took a really long time to beat

@@FloydMaxwell That's like asking "How is getting four lines with an I piece a Tetris"? Because that's how it works. Player has top score. Another player sees that top score, gets a higher score, and become the World Record holder with that higher score.

When I think about it, if you already have the ability to play 29, getting invisible tetrises might be easier to do on 29 than on 19 since you have to memorize the placements and the stack for less time than on 19.

Fun fact for those who dont know: the latest possible maxout in NES tetris is on Level 70, with 703 lines, at a level 0 start, with no pushdowns and only singles. This is more well known: The earliest possible maxout on an unmoodded NES Tetris game is 41 consecutive Tetrises [164 lines], (with 399+ pushdown points) at level 22, from a level 19 start. Without pushdowns, you will need at most one single somewhere else in the game.
