I would recommend a lot more Kendrick, he has so many different styles and flows, lyrically he's the best of this generation for sure. This beef got very dark fast since Drake mentioned Kendrick's fiancée so Kendrick just exposed the dark side of the hip hop industry and you see it happening with Diddy right now
Thanks digg. Yeah, it seems like I wandered into something that's hot and boiling over. I loved Drake's hookup with the Last Poets (CORRECTION: That was Common). And I'ma do more Kendrick. I like the variations in his music -- it seems like he pays as much attention to music and melody as he pays to his rapping, and I digg that. Fixin' to cover Eminem for first time today, and maybe another Tupac.
@@JopiniStJopy Love the reactions mate! yeah Kendrick has dabbled in Soul, RnB, Funk and Jazz on his To Pimp A Butterfly album, he's so experimental like Prince was (they actually performed together live years ago)
@@digg_7 Dude, I dig that. I'm gonna check out more Kendrick. Prince is gold up here in the land of 10,000 lakes.
There is a comedian named Josh Johnson. He explains this whole battle for white people. 🤣 I found it very educating myself. And there were rabbitholes to be found. This has been an amazing journey. I've learned a whole lot, too, about the importance of cultural identity among else. And found a bunch of creators well deserving of attention, for different reasons. Oh, and the breakdowns... 😳 Kendrick have more brain than most, without question. I would totally watch you looking for the truth. Also, Norwegian flag, huh? 🤔 I'm still scouring for reactions. 😝
Hey thanks, tiny! You got me reading and researching. I just watched a Josh Johnson stand-up routine where he talks about the beef. Great stuff, great fun. It's competition, mostly playing, and I'm an old jock so I get that. It does feel like Kendrick is taking Drake to school. Yeah, Norwegian flag, also a German flag -- just a nod to my ancestors. Stay tuned, my friend!
@@JopiniStJopy Being a born and raised Norwegian, I just randomly ignore the German flag 😝 (I did see it 😊). I'm glad you're doing a deep dive. I've always been fascinated by black US American culture, due to how hard they have fought for what they built from literally nothing. They had nothing but memories of what they came from, and now they have to continuously fight off the planet to try to keep what they built. And as a Scandinavian, I'm so far removed, that learning is challenging. But this battle has made algorithm push more black creators that talk on the black experiences on a deeper level, at least to my timeline. And I can only encourage more white people to take the time to understand exactly why Kendrick verbally destroying Drake is more than that. I hope they get hip hop back to the black culture, so they can continue to develop the genre to fit the spirits of THEIR ancestors. Drake is a symptom; he isn't the disease. Though his other movements that's not music (the minors, his breeding habits) makes him a bigger problem than other culture vultures.
@@tinydarkjewel Wow, an actual Norwegian! There may be a tiny drop of Sweden in my sisters and me, but we don't like to think about that. Thanks for engaging. I want to visit Norway before I kick. Yeah, the Germanic blood was really played down for my sisters and me for many years. Over here, for the last few decades we've all been born into a world where we're like, "What? Black people were...huh? You're kidding." So some whites still go around afraid of black folk, and blacks can't be blamed if they're going around hating white folk. I'm doing what I can to bridge some gaps thru something I love -- music. As for Drake, I would have to know more to say anything, and even then, I probably wouldn't. I don't want to pile on anyone. Fred ute!
@@JopiniStJopy I don't need people to talk on Drake; I have my go-to people for that. I just need people to be concerned enough to dig on their own time, for themselves. The girls are our daughters (I have a child aging into the bracket where Drake has been lurking), and my gen x ass refuses to let that go. I need him and people (men AND women; let's not be naive) like him to go away and not having the funds and fame to get access to more of them. So if you speak on it or not, I just hope you dig into that particular rabbit hole. There are other things less severe, but still important things to unveil for you. That's the entertaining shit. Would still be cool to hear your thoughts on what you find out, though.
BONUS THOUGHTS: Ah, so this is what is known in the biz as a "diss track." I am surprised at the mention of Li'l Wayne, who I dig. Lamar is a contender, his music and rapping are top-shelf, and he is challenging some heavyweights. Dangerous stuff, shocking and kind of exciting to listen to -- like, okay, wow, who is he gonna name next? Love the rapping -- he does some actual singing, creating melody, and although the music is dominated by just two notes, it's rockin'. I don't need Rush or Yes playing a million notes to enjoy music. Sometimes less is more, and that's what we have here. "Step this way, step that way..."
Awesome, I love this song, you should do pale blue eyes next
Thanks! "Awesome" is a bit strong, but I'll take it. Pale Blue Eyes is sweet, I'll see what I can do.
I want to play with U
Hendrix would be stoked mate.you added to the mind blowing serenity of this song. well done
Thanks, person! Yeah, I get compared to Hendrix all the time. LOL. Beautiful song by Van the Man, for sure.
If you want emotional rap music like this 2Pac is the man, i will be happy to give recommendations
Cool dude - do you hand-roll your own smokes? 👻
Thanks man. I get the Top tobacco, and I use a little roller and I put a filter in there. It's flavor country. It's a clean, brief smoke. Haven't had a manufactured cig in about 12 years.
@@JopiniStJopy I did the same thing! 👻
I was living in Harlem when this album came out and used to listen to it on repeat when I was walking around the city. The second half instrumental part of this song to me always had that 70s black music feel that was influenced by heroin. Love this song and love the album. All time favorite
Keep digging my friend you will be amazed over and over again.
Thats what pac does with his lyricss. He is not just a rapper he is a genius poet/ activist/ actor.... More reactions on his music please
2Pac..."When I get free", off of the Double Album, "Until The End of Time"! BTW that album is masterpiece that can be listened to from A to Z on one take. As with all his music, each and every track is it's own innovative and unique piece lyricaly , emotionaly and musicaly. There will never be another Tupac Shakur.
Sorry for your loss 😢❤
Obe of the best songs ever written. !!!! Pac - A true poet ! ❤
So sorry for your loss.
Check out death around the corner! That song is intense!
Please one day at a time OG version
Best sport ever. Go Twins! I want all pitchers to grow staches like Catfish.
That's actually Rollie Fingers. Catfish had a great 'stach, but Rollie's was even more impressive. The blurry pic of Rollie pitching to Johnny Bench is significant because Rollie had just come in to pitch to Bench with a 3-2 count and he and the catcher faked an intentional walk to Bench and Rollie threw it right down the middle, catching Bench by surprise and striking him out. Rollie was like the snickering villain with the handlebar moustache.
Please react to Tupac- Me And My Girlfriend and Only God Can Judge Me.
Great Reaction. I also do reaction and done this one. It's great your openminded to new music my friend. Peace and love and enjoy the music mate.
I enjoyed your reaction. I am a big Tupac fan.
Love this channel
Awaiting more Tupac reactions. Below are some recommendations if you will: - Changes - Troublesome 96 - When we ride on our enemies - Hit Em Up - Until The End Of Time - Only Fear Of Death - Thugz Mansion

Hey man this song is dope 🔥 I highly recommend Reflection Eternal and BlackStar if you enjoyed this. Just keep going down the rabbit hole cause hip hop has an endless amount of hidden gems like this song.
I'm fittin' to cover more beauties like this, so thanks for the tips. Yeah, the music I'm hearing is way better than I expected. I just might do a video of me playing guitar to "Make My." I see that Reflection Eternal is a song by Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek. When you say BlackStar, is that the rap duo?
@@JopiniStJopy Mos Def and Talib Kweli make up BlackStar and then Talib Kweli and the producer Hi Tek makeup Reflection Eternal. Love Language, Memories Live, Blast, Respiration, Thieves in The Night, K.O.S are all great songs to start with.
Sorry to hear about your Mom I lost mine in 2008. And it breaks my heart every single day to think about Her It hurts my heart because she did everything she could for me, she spoiled me rotten. And I wasn't always the best son. And I regret that now. And every day I break down. I'm crying because of it.
Man, she's still with you. Her spirit is around, in the air, taking care of you however she can. I truly believe that. I said in the video "I knew this would happen," but I didn't. All I knew about this song is that the screencap of other reactors showed them looking all sad, so I knew it would be heart-wrenching, but I didn't realize I'd start thinking about my own mom. Don't be hard on yourself. She knows you love her.
React to Lil Wayne “Mrs. Officer” , Lil Wayne, “Tyler Herro” -Lil Wayne feat. Big Sean, or “Seeing Green” - Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake
Thanks for the tips. Lil Wayne is a breath of fresh air -- a sense of humor, loving life, and just a really nice guy. And he's got the whole freaking dictionary in his head. "Seeing Green" sounds like one helluva collaboration.
React to “Through the wire” - Kanye West
Thanks man! I'm taking notes and lining up more reactions. I've found myself humming this song during the day, so yeah, more Kanye coming.
React to “Against All Odds” - Tupac
Thanks man, it's on my list. Soooo many Tupac songs to get to. I haven't even covered "California Love" yet. How did dude make so much music by age 25?
Great reaction!..one of me favorites to chill out with but let's get into some hard Tupac react to WAR GAMES (DEATHROW VERSION) STREET FAME HOLLA AT ME BOMB 1ST
That's what I'm talking about, man. Deeper Tupac cuts are coming up for sure. Thanks for the tips.
Sex, drugs, and rap and roll! Lil Wayne is hip, with-it, and wow. How does he keep all these lyrics in his head when he performs live? I like Lil Wayne because he is wild and he has a sense of humor. He carries the melody and the rhythm with his rapping, and the spartan music here keeps things light and dizzy. He's someone you want to party with. The kat idea and the video are super keeno. Dig.
Great review bro. Love your dialogue. Please keep it up.
Thanks for the compliment, man. All I've gotten so far are compliments -- no insults. That's got to be some kind of record for social media. Very kool.
Awesome reaction, subscribed to the channel and hope for more 2pac reactions. It would be awesome if you could react to any of these 2pac songs: Ghetto Gospel Trapped So many tear I get around Dear mama Brenda’s got a baby
I'm taking notes bro. I did Dear Mama, but not those other ones yet. Thanks man.
Fun Fact: the hook was a interpolation of the song Friend like me from the movie Aladdin perform by Robin Williams as the Genie. Also the song was a adaptation of Aladdin. 🐐 !
Whoa. Neat. Thanks for the intel dude.
@@JopiniStJopy 👍
EPILOGUE: I'm still stunned. What an innovative piece of music. What a brutal subject to take on. This guy, with so much going for him, feeling like he does. No matter how successful you are, no matter how many fans you have, you can still hurt inside. You still have your own feelings. He cut himself open on this.
SECOND THOUGHTS: The lyrics suggest that Tupac is trying to lure this lady away from an abuser. I read that he was in love with Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and this may have been an homage to her. I haven't been living under a rock, so yes, I know "Waterfalls," and I remember loving it at first listen. The female vocalist is Anya Pinto. Every song I've heard so far from Tupac has been from his heart.
13:57 It's funny that you ask. Tupac literally made a classic song that used Led Zeppelin Ten Years Gone music - 2Pac Life's So Hard OG (OriGinal Version) that he finished but this version remains officially unrelesead, not the poshumouse remix with different sample and completely different vibe. You can easily find the orginal version on RUclips.
looking forward to seeing more of your reactions of Tupac.
They're comin', for sure. I feel like I've found a buried treasure that will take years to gather up. Thanks man.
Keep it up! U should react to White man world by Pac
That's a top candidate for my next Pac reaction. Thanks dude.
i love seeing people open there minds too the world of hiphop. when you listen to the storys then you can start too see a whole new meaning in the grimy lyrics. amazing video
Oh man, tell me about it. The thoughts and feelings I'm getting from hiphop...you just don't get them from rock and rollers. Thanks.
great song very deep i think as a music lover you would like anderson paak. good flow, great lyrics and great musicianship.
Thanks man, I'll put Anderson Paak on my list. Rap on, my friend.
Sir i appreciate you giving an ear to my type of music, i am not a fan of commercial rap thoe i did started with that. I want to clear up something about these songs ( tupac and biggie) that if you want to understand these two i suggest to listen to them in a metaphor of two angels from Sodom & Goliath that burned down that corrupted disgusting city( wich we all live now) like for example this one biggie is calling for help but his so calked "friend or homie" doesn't know what he's talking about just listen to him aaking what is wrong as if he doesn't know him nor where he comes from but what he knows is that he is making money of his songs so he really wants him alive. A biggie song 'Going Back to Cali' its the same but puffy calls him to wake up and get down to the airport cause they have a flight to California where biggie is in danger of a beef east and west but puffy says that tgey gotta get that paper so he really doesn't give a shit about his friend might getting killed over there so it says alot that biggie shows all the fakes true colors and tupac burns them with truth. Just a thought thank you sir.
Dude, wow, thanks for the insight. Yeah, I see (and hear) now, after listening again, that this guy on the phone with Biggie was not really his friend. Biggie seemed to know that some people in your life don't really care about your well-being. That time period, mid-90s, was truly a wild time in rap hop.
@@JopiniStJopy Yup... so biggie is the pimp...tupac is the rebel.
ON FURTHER REVIEW: Kanye's voice on this is silky smooth -- great singing and phrasing. I heard the additional vocals toward the end -- very kool. Sweet music, a keep-at-it message, and an eye-popping, fricking adorable video. Kanye scores.
I lost my mom too in 2011. Still feel so heart broken thinking to this day. Anyways, stay strong, and as always, God Bless. Already subscribed to your channel and much love ❤❤ from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳 🙏🙏
Thanks my friend. I feel your pain. Hey, one of these days I'll react to a rap song that has a sitar in it. Take care.
