Honda only failed with price and range... Costing the same as a Model 3 when it came out... Not updating the battery size (like the Mini did) was the end for the Honda e and for me Honda as a customer. As a new Honda customer who bought the HONDA E, expecting updates, never again will I buy a Honda again.
I can definitely understand the frustration. The Honda E was such a pleasant car to drive, but owning it is a different story. As you said, price and range were the biggest issues. The fact that you can just get more space and less/no range anxiety from so many other cars in the market for the same price or less, makes the E a tough sell. We rarely saw it even here in Japan. Nissan was smarter with their Sakura, but still, such EVs remain very pricey. It's sad they discontinued the Honda E. There was potential if they could've fixed the price and range issues :(
@@claireandayesh Don't get me wrong I have almost 100 000 kms in the odometer... it is fantastic, (the infotainment was old fashioned from the beginning but Android auto fixes that) and I do plenty of outside city driving. honestly a waste from Honda not fixing the issues. I can't stand behind a company that leaves costumers like this... Guess what... they did the same with the Eny1 in Europe for the price you can't beat the volvo EX30, much better car and range.. again. Plus the ENY1 loses what the E had... charisma... now it's just a bland new SUV (in a market full of them)

Absolutely not. This GTS is made on the turbo plateform and not a carrera plateform Chassis, suspension and braking system is completely different to a carrera
@@CLSTRN911 only the brakes come from the Turbo. engine os the same
The GTS is the sweet spot on all of the Porsche platforms, not a waste of money, if you know anything about how Porsches are built 🏎
@@williamjackson5357 hmmmmm. i currently own. 992 C2S a 718 Cayman GTS 4.0, a 73 911 T and an 87 944 Turbo. yeah...i know Porsche. the only difference in the 992 GTS is the phantom HP increase, bigger brakes from the Turbo and helper springs in the rear suspension. the GTS is not a "baby GT3" nor a stripped Turbo S. it is a carrera S with an appearance package. if u like it great....but stop trying to gaslight everyone else.

Suspension is easily upgraded to any 370Z aftermarket kits
Not a lot of Z have made it to customers but one thing's for sure, there should be quite a lot of modified new Zs in the future!
A chassis whose basic design is about 20 years old, and an engine that does not reach 400ps in actual measurements. Sadly, a sports car that symbolizes the declining Nissan. But die-hard Nissan fans should get their hands on this now. It is difficult to put even this old sports car on the production plan, and Nissan has no intention of continuing to make this Z in the future. In Japan, it will take several years to reach customers who have already ordered it, and Nissan has no plans to accept new orders for the Z in the future.
There's some good and bad about this car. You have a very valid point. This car is not all bad, but it does feel like styling aspect got the priority over performance aspects. We really wonder when we'll really get to see these in the streets... :( It's sad that we can't even see one driving in Tokyo.
Nissan hit it out of the park with the new Z and they did it while making the smart choices to keep the price down for what you are getting and then there is always the upcoming NISMO edition. Right out of the gate, Nissan put out a great car, one I would be proud to have parked in my garage. Great video and well-done Nissan!
Is the new Z roomier inside than the 370?
We haven't been in a 370z for quite a few years now, but from what we remember, we'd say it's roughly the same in terms of space. However, the new Z definitely feels more airy, which could make it feel like it's roomier!
@@claireandayesh I’m a big guy and tried to sit in a 370 the other day and the roof was so low I couldn’t fit. I was so disappointed because I wanted a 370 Nismo so bad. Have to lose the keg I’m carrying. Lol
