I had a hard time in receiving or asking for help anytime in my life been working on allowing people to help me lately
@@DebraCaine I'm proud of your progress! I know in my life I've over-given, especially in relationships and I always felt depleted or unappreciated. Recently, it's came up in the realm of jobs for me where for a time in my life I was overdoing a lot of work and staying more hours then was needed which ended up resulting in feeling drained and unappreciated in the end. I still have a lot to learn myself but one thing that helped me grow more in this area is realizing that I'm one amongst those who needs to be taken care of, loved, and appreciated along with others and I think that's a hard lesson for some of us and one you can relate with. I know saying it sounds simple but it can be hard, especially when we have it in our hearts to help others, that's why it's important to look at our good heart and understand how truly valuable it is and why it's important to have boundaries to protect it but to also show others how to love and give us support as well, this is how receiving can be opened up for us. I know what held me back from receiving more was feeling like I had to do or be something for everything and everyone, which as I've mentioned made me feel drained and depleted. I hope something I mentioned helped and I pray that life gets easier or that whatever you're facing or dealing with heals or resolves itself, much love.
