COPENHAGEN IS BUZZING | The Interior News
Nice house, nice view and nice location! You could consider a beehive on the empty space in the garden. I don't know the rules for keeping bees, but maybe they are not so complicated after all. In the bedroom you could put up a wall and possibly make some storage or walk-in closet. If there is space in the kitchen, you must have a small dining table. The kitchen is the coziest room. Tillykke med huset! 🎉🙂
Love your New Home, I am on my second new home in the middle of no where,in Denmark-after renovating the first one. I can recommend to get a fire place bigger than you need with a side door as well. It heats the whole house fast! I have the jotul brandeoven and you can also heat up food on it! Keep your bricks, you may want to make an terrace or use it for building the green houses. Find a place to put a huge compost pile to throw ashes and weeds, you can easily regroup your bathroom tile to make it whiter, carpet keeps you warm in winter, leave the stairs carpet for a year before deciding. Best of luck ☺️
Congratulations with your new house❤
Number 10
Number one ❤
Hi there and welcome to our little corner of the world. Im hoping yer gonna settle in nicely - from yer own plan perspective, it sure sounds like it. Yer have won my subscription because i find yer project there interesting. May a good and blessed wind blow in yer direction!
Tak for din ærlige feedback!
The house is quite exposed in the landscape, you’ll probably find that the hedge helps cut down the weather battering the house/garden. It’s a lovely home, in a very lovely setting though!
I am so glad you came up on my feed! I love your style, and I'm looking forward to checking out more of your videos!
Nice house, but to me it feels like the sun room is actually the main entrance, and the holway by the stairs is the mud room as takes you to the gardens, and shed, garage,etc...all best wishes for your new home. Its beautiful.
Thank you! The sunroom is actually a later addition, and to use it as the main entrance, you’d have to walk around the house, so I feel the current entrance works better as the main one. That said, I agree it could use some attention to make it more welcoming-perhaps a little roof over the door and some nice outdoor lamps. As for the back door, it’s very practical, and I can definitely see it evolving into the mudroom entrance eventually. It’s a process, but I’m excited to make it all come together! 😊
I just came across your channel and I'm sure it's going to be an amazing journey for you as you shape this beautiful house. And of course, we'll enjoy watching it too! 🤙
Thank you so much for joining in! 😊 I’m really excited about the journey ahead and all the projects to come. It means a lot to have you along for the ride-hope you enjoy watching it unfold! 🤙✨
Is this some kind of joke...?
Not at all! But hey, if you have a good one, I'm all ears. 😉
I'd use the extra bricks you have and make an outdoor firepit!
Beautiful house and so much potential with the property and it’s going to be great to see what you do with it.
Absolutely lovely place.
Congrats with your new house! A lot of potential there 👍🤓The constant piano"music" in the background all the time, are quite annoying I think... maybe run that through parts when you dont talk?
Thanks for the feedback and the congratulations! 😊 I hear you about the piano-I’ll definitely tone it down in future videos, especially during the quieter parts. Appreciate the input!

good place for mediate❤i want to live there in the summer❤
It truly is the perfect spot for peace and reflection. Summer here would be magical-you're always welcome to visit in spirit! ❤🌿
@AllanTorp my energy is antimatters... i can't go another country... too many bodyguards following me
You could put natural jute on the stairs…would look nice…and prevent slipping
That's a great idea! Natural jute would add charm and be practical for safety-definitely something to consider for the stairs. Thanks for the tip! 😊
D samme 😊
Ah, Denmark. Right down the Hallmark from the Kitchenmark.
Are you a Danish citizen? Since it’s quite difficult for foreigners to buy property in Denmark.
Yes, I am a Danish citizen. You're right, it can be challenging for non-citizens to buy property here due to specific legal requirements. Fortunately, that's not something I had to worry about! 😊
@@AllanTorp I think you should mention that you are a citizen and Denmark’s special laws. Denmark didn’t fully agree to the Maastricht Treaty, so EU had to create a special agreement with four exceptions for Denmark called the Edinburgh Agreement.
hello from germany, just a question.you sound like an american i mean you got no akcent.did you live in the states for while?
I really like your new home. Its like a paradise. I wish I have your home. First time moving into a new home is going to be a mess you’ll find your times to organize. Your new home looks very decent and neat there’s nothing much to work on. Congratulations!!! Thanks for sharing the tour of your home
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really happy you like the house. You’re right, moving into a new home can be a bit messy at first, but it’s all part of the fun! I appreciate you following along, and I can’t wait to share more as things come together. Thanks for the support! 😊🏡
New subscriber from the Philippines .Nice house and place love it ❤

The tiles would make good flooring for your greenhouse
Evergreen looked like fir, cedar maybe hemlock or ? The screen is tiny here.
Meadow lane cottage
Love this. Thank you.
Bricks might be a nice floor for your future greenhouse. Maybe a pathway to the greenhouse. Yes, get rid of the berries.
#1
Mr. Torp. I agree with you, the cherry tree that is over grown in your yard needs a good trimming back and a greenhouse there is a fantastic idea. You may want to use those extra brick pavers to create a walkway in your garden or use them as a wall installation on the wall of your shed to cover up the damage. Do build your bed soon if you haven't done so already. Sleeping on a bare floor may not be very comfortable. The location and the aesthetics of the home and it's garden is idyllic. Loved the tour. One thing I cannot get accustomed to is seeing water heaters in the kitchens. Many European homes have theis appliance exposed and it's such an unattractive eye sore for us Americans. With your ideas, I'm certain that kitchen will be remodeled to something very modern, sleek and elegant. Best wishes.
Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions! I’ve actually assembled the bed already, just had a little trouble finding the screws, but it's all set now. 😊 As for the exposed water heater, I completely agree-it’s definitely not the most attractive feature. It’s something I’m planning to address, but I still have a lot of oil left in the tank, so I need to use that up before replacing the whole system. I appreciate your kind words about the house and garden, and I’m really excited to see how everything will come together. Thanks for following along!
Cement pad in back, a sauna maybe . The kitchen wall above the sink should have all windows, no cabinets so you can enjoy the view and daylight . Such a nice choice !! Good luck from the Olson's in Washington State.
I love to see your satsfaction and joy of getting such a lovely house in such a lovely place. Congratulations - it can only be a succes❣️
Does the house meet the requirements for a heat pump? It is a bit older and perhaps not well insulated enough.
Yes, the house is perfectly suited for a heat pump! Even though it’s older, it can accommodate a system where an outdoor unit brings in air to generate hot water, which is then distributed through the existing pipes and radiators. It’s an efficient and sustainable way to heat the home, and I’m excited about the upgrade. 😊
What a beautiful little spot and house! Seconding the suggestions to keep the treeline to protect against wind, and to just cut back the berry vines. I wonder if the boxes next to the shed, the ones you said might be raised beds, are actually for compost? Re the property being out in the middle of nowhere, this is Denmark, so really a 30 min drive in any direction will probably get you into a city 😛 Greetings from a much larger Canada, from someone born in Denmark who's Danish cousin has a farm way out in the countryside but is really just a 10-15 min drive to Odense 😉 (I don't know what the distance is in kilometres or miles, in Canada we measure distance in the time it takes to drive there. 15 minutes is close. Funny how that perspective changes!)
Mange hilsner tilbage! 😊
Use the old garden tiles as paving stones. They make wet ground so much nicer to walk on without getting muddy. You can also use some of them in the greenhouse.
Hi Allan, I love your new house, it's amazing.
Jeg tænker fredelig og friendly so maybe call your home Freddie 😊 ❤ 🇩🇰
That’s such a sweet idea! Freddie sounds like a friendly and cozy name for the house - it fits the vibe here perfectly. Thanks for the suggestion! ❤😊
