Who says you’re too old to play on the sea saw? We’re excited to announce our latest addition to the Obstacle Course is a new Teeter Totter, located in the Upper Ranch 4x4 area. While we encourage visitors to have a “balanced” ride of safety and thrills, please follow the posted “No Pedestrian Zone” signs for your safety. Is upper ranch best place to start for getting into offroading in a truck?
I swear state rules are dumb as hell, that’s why I will never ride state property and if I ever do u won’t catch me
Mudstone has been a terrible place to run, hike, and mountain bike for over a year. It's in such terrible condition. Every local rider I know is avoiding the trails that used to be so fun. Wish this place was taken care of. So many other trail networks in nearby counties are doing it right. Mudstone screams neglect and all of us Hollister residents have to go elsewhere to ride now.

So cool. I remember coming here with my Dad 30 years ago. I just remember eating crap on a 90cc and under track 🥴 I was all throttle back then.

Hi, would an electric mountain bike (pedal assist only - no throttle) be able to use the mtb trails in mudstone ranch and the Nature area ?
Class 1 and class 2 e-bikes are permitted in the Mudstone Ranch. Other areas and regulations for California state parks can be found here: www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=30521
Are there signs to indicate green, blue etc on the 4x4 trails or do we just have to go by the map?
All of our official off-roading trails are marked with difficulty indicators including green circle, blue square, black diamond and beyond.
When u guys gonna make a new trail in the lower ranch area?
