Like the commentator said, it sounds as if the bass is singing along with the vocals. As a matter of fact, he was one of the first and father to do this. You can hear his bass singing lead and harmonies in many Motown songs. In my opinion, this started to influence musicians and producers around the world to do the same. Others did before him... however, his bass is more prominent throughout Motown's catalog.
I learned the foundations of the bass, and practice the scales note for note , that's more important before you jump to anything else , thanks to you Jamerson.🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
