    Thank you for posting this and confirming that the DJI RC2 is plug and play compatible with my beloved Xreal Air2 Pros! Now I can confidently pull the trigger on a Mini 4 Pro. Finding devices that are compatible with the Xreals have been challenging, and the biggest downside to these glasses IMO. The only drone I have that works plug and play directly to an HDMI port is my Yuneec Typhoon hexacopter, a huge drone. Ive flown with the Xreals and the Typhoon H for several months now, and prefer them BY FAR over FPV goggles. They give me just enough immersion and detail in the video, yet still aware of my surroundings, and can still glance down to use the touch screen on the controller when needed. I have been able to wirelessly use the Xreal Beam accessory to my I-pad and Samsung phone used on my other drone controllers, but the lag is a deal breaker. Its like flying drunk, not good. Direct plug into an HDMI port using a small powered USB-C to HDMI adapter, or direct into a HDMI enabled USB-C port is the only way to go.

      I feel the same. Now I hate flying without them. The only drawback is finding devices that work plug and play with the Air 2 Pros. Connecting wirelessly with the Xreal Beam produces so much lag that its almost impossible to fly safely. You will be viewing flight history, not real time. Reacting and dodging an obstacle is impossible. Hard wired to the controller to an HDMI port (using a small powered adapter) or to a HDMI enabled USB-C produces zero lag. Unfortunately there are only a small percentage of controllers with any sort of HDMI out to plug into. Ive been using my Yuneec Typhoon H with the Air2 Pros plugged directly into the HDMI port on the controller for a few months now. Total game changer for the type of flying I do. But, the Typhoon is becoming obsolete and is a huge hexacopter that isnt practical for most of the jobs I do. Im so happy to see the DJI RC2 has USB-C/HDMI out. They dont mention that in the specs. Apparently, they quietly added this to the latest production, the early versions did not have HDMI capability in the USB-C port according to the early reviews, only charging and data transfer. Now I'm dying to add a Mini 4 and an Air 3 with the RC2 to my toolbox!

    I would like this for FPV drone, using a DJI O3 air unit.

    • @BoLuoPineaTech
      @BoLuoPineaTech 9 месяцев назад

      That would be really great! Unfortunately, DJI O3 air unit has to be conncted to DJI Goggles 2 (or FPV Goggles V2) with FPV controller in order to work (as far as I understand), so even in theory you could then pass the image from DJI Goggles to the AR glasses but it woudn't make a lot of sense.

      @@BoLuoPineaTech These glasses work great with my DJI 4. Just plug them in and they're good to go. Amazing.. I'm wondering how they could be used with a homebuilt FPV drone equipped with either digital or analogue cameras.
