IRIX Cine 15mm T2.6 - Uncut Flares & Bokeh.
This is a barely cut-together video of the IRIX Cine 15mm T2.6, I've owned this lens for around a year now and it's a bit of a hidden Gem, offering beautiful and dramatic flares, great sharpness, wonderful build quality, and clean clinical Bokeh but with very little reviews or info on the lens when I bought it.

PortaBrace Rain Slicker for Sony FX6 Rain Cover
Просмотров 4776 месяцев назад
Updates to this video, firstly this rain cover has been amazing to use, I could not live without it just because putting it on and off in spotty weather is 10x easier than always DIY'ing the solution. This would work with a Zacuto EVF onto the LCD, however if yo uwant to extend the EVF beyond the handle it will not work correctly. PortaBrace Rain Slicker for Sony FX6 Rain Cover / PortaBrace RS-...
Zacuto Sony FX6 Z-Finder EVF - Overview
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.6 месяцев назад
This video isn't a well-structured review, just an overview using my free time to give some opinions and show the use case of the Zacuto Sony FX6 Z-Finder EVF with the basic included Z-Finder Mount as there is such little videos on it. Combine this EVF with other Zacuto mounts or other LCD mounts. You can find a combo that works better, I think Bright Tangerines AXIS is probably the solution I'...
Sirui Venus 50mm 1.6x T2.9 & 1.25 Adapter Tests - Sirui 2x Anamorphic

The Venus Set of lenses IS the most versatile budget anamorphic offering available today as It offers 6 total lenses that all remain consistent with the look that this set of lenses produces, the only outlier is the 135mm because of it's 1.8x. While these are also an inconstant squeeze of 1.6x-1.5x, but far better than the GreatJoys/Blazars first set with an inconsistent squeeze of 1.8x-1.6x He...

Lowepro, Torn Between the Whistler II and the ProTrekker II
Просмотров 3204 года назад
In this long 7min long video, I rant about how I'm torn between the Durable and Rigid Whistler 450 II and the full of features ProTrekker 550 II, I talk about the bags I've owned and how much I rely on them and believe there Is room for improvement on the Whistler 450 II. I talk how I'd love to see a new Whistler range 350,450, and 550 with more of the useful and innovative designs of the Protr...

Great video, thanks
Really informative video, nice work!
Why doesn’t anybody make a real viewfinder for the FX6 ?
I wish.. Sony doesn't really understand the design or the needs of filmmakers as they seem to just refuse to design one. They need to just produce an amazing all round LCD/eyepiece combo like ARRI that's compatible with the VF cable or adaptable to other connectors. They just don't seem to want to make one.
Thanks for the video. I'm curious to know your setup at 4:46. Specifically everything behind the back of the Fx6. How is the DJI transmission secured to the back of the tilta cage? It looks like some sort of Tilta attachment that connects to the back of a full cage battery plate. This seems like a great setup for a shoulderrig to ensure the Fx6 is not so front heavy. What is the arm connecting to your handgrip? Looks beefy
Thanks! Yes Tilta Vlock plate on the DJI transmission, the arm is a really basic old Tilta arri rosette extension but it is ultra short so it's not actually comfy (at least for me). But the Tilta plate is clean, just the power doesn't go to camera unless it's on which is actually quite a pain as for my work.
you need to read up on the Zacuto loop and screen burn issue.. keep the viewfinder covered up..
I do have a little loop and the little 16.9 letterbox shade, In sunlight I'd just angle the lens down to the floor rather than fiddle with the dangling piece to cover it up, but all great points and I assume screen burn issues are produced by direct sunlight as is what happens with all EVF's.
Great video! I have this finder and the only problem is that the weight makes it sag and throws the horizon off when handheld. Zacuto should make a bracket like Bright Tangering to keep the plastic handle from flexing from the weight of the viewfinder rig.
Thank you and I agree, lovely EVF and used them for years but they are heavy and cause issues with the FX6 handle flex, strange other brands have not made their own handle brace other than Bright Tangerine. Thankfully though, Bright tangerine AXIS is a really great bit of kit that is fully compatible with this EVF mount. It's almost the ultimate solution from my personal use case as It gives you all the flexibility you would want from an EVF and let's you quickly remove the EVF from the LCD quickly like how I attached it at the start (like how it works on the FS7 and FX9), it would also let you use the Handle support bracket as well, just it's another £400 on top and some extra weight to the overall camera package.
Sorry, I do NOT like any of your Cons "improvements".
Fair enough and I appreciate your comment! With my Point of View in the video, I was trying to weigh the pros and cons over a hard case, such as why use it over a hard case and will it hold up anywhere and can it be used outside in all-weather. Cost wise these are better than a hard case and they just so happen to be a better size than a Pelican 1510 for my particular needs but otherwise, there are no other actual benefits over a traditional hard case. That's why my suggestion to utilize the space on the outside like a spot for a passport, Little pockets for matte box flags and cleaning clothes even French flags, and easy access to some camera batteries would help weigh these as an even better option compared to a hard case because one big CON to these bags is that they are way more awkward to open than a traditional hard case and neither offers external storage for simple things... So If it's fabric sow some pockets on it and at least in the Film Industry we would utilize those pockets!. These also won't survive in the rain or outside so just a basic all-weather cover suggestion would have just been useful period for those like me who don't work in a studio and always need to be ready for bad weather.
AMAZING! LOVE YOUR SHOTS!

nice video good luck
Appreciate the kind words!
Hey ! How'd get that cinestill look at 0:18 ? Davinci ?
Edited and graded using Resolve, shot at 100fps slowed to it's maximum on a 25p timeline, along with Ezra Cohens 16mm Grain pack which includes these very rough Fim Textures almost looks like VHS Noise and artifacts. I also added a halation like a glow around Highlights and a super subtle frame flicker but the grain is what you must be talking about?
@@Samskihero I was asking about the halation itself. I guess you can do that on davinci.
@@varunnair83 Yes you can, There are two ways of doing it, You can either use Glow effect set to Screen mode or use the Blur Controls. Check this video out ruclips.net/video/iuQ7FWQeH9E/видео.html
