We're probably about the same age give or take a year or two, and my main memory of that day is that I was in class and my headteacher whispered something to my teacher and she instantly looked terrified. And I remember as a child picking up on the fact my teacher was scared, and when I went home my parents had the same sort of expression on their faces and I was just worried about why they were so scared.

I was 4 also, in a country of the Caribbean, my mom was a stay at home, and my brother was almost 1 year, she picked me up from school, and we walk, I remember she was doing laundry in my grandma house (ground level of my home) and they don't allow me to watch cartoon that day, (one of the air channel put them around noon) and maybe that day the news was about it. Years later I ask my mom, and she told me that day the sky was dark, weird bc I live in the Caribbean.

I was born on August 3rd, 1998, I was 3 when that happened, but I barely remember it also, and my grandmother on my dad's side is from New York and so was my dad obviously. luckily my grandmother doesn't live in the actual city, so she's safe. She's 92 now and still thriving. TBH if she makes it to 100 I would be surprised.

Living in Europe my first thought in case of plane alternatives would be a train rather than renting a too small car. But from what I understand it's not as popular in the US (even Google maps suggests busses as first option). I have completely no memories of that day even though I was 6 at the time and remember various stuff like my birthday which was the same month...

I was 20 years old when that happens. I was at work and I can still Remember that morning and how I felt. It’s crazy to remember such details even when they were two decades ago. We wait in that lane to get in lane that you can drive in and then like that. But yeah, I’m also fascinated about the different perspectives of that day. I really enjoyed your video. And like you said it’s just a crazy thought that many people were born after 9/11. Of course we all know there’s nothing strange about that. But it’s just a strange thought being that it was such a tragic point in history and everyone we talk to about it at the time knew what we were talking about and the feelings we all felt. But now we can talk to people about it, and some cannot, share those same feelings and memories because they weren’t there. So yeah, a little mind-boggling.

I wasn't in school that day and I remember being with my mom in the post office and my dad called her. At this point it was only one plane and I remember hearing my mom say "was the pilot drunk?", she wasn't aware how severe it was. It wasn't until a bit later when my dad told her to take the kids and stay at the house and that he would be home soon.

I was also 4 years old when 9/11 happened and I as you said "the only memory I tell my self I have" or two very vague memories I have are one, me and my siblings getting ready for school, since I was in preschool I was always the last one to be dropped off at school, so I was in the car with my dad, taking my older siblings to their school and they were saying in the car radio that there had been an accident at the WTC, I don't remember that specifically, however what I do remember is as soon as we were almost arriving at my school the people in the radio sounded all freaked out and my dad was acting scared and shocked, even cursing which was very unusual for him to do in front of us at that age (I guess that's when the 2nd plane hit and everyone realized it was not an accident), and then coming home from school later that day I just remember running all around, playing as I always used to but my parents and even my olders siblings had this "vibe", I mean even people at school had that same vibe, I guess they were trying hard not to panic or show too much fear since they needed to stay calm not to scare us children not older than 5... but even at 4 years old you could sense something was off, back at home my family was watching the news about what had happened that morning and a remember very vaguely that I stopped for a second as they were showing footage from earlier, when the second plane hit the tower and I just could not understand, as a little kid you don't really process this kind of stuff, you just sense something is not right but that's it, and I guess the fear and sadness my family had was passed to me, cause that night I was feeling sad and scared, but didn't quite understand why... Being a little kid on 9/11 was definitely confusing, scary and weird

My parents called out and took me out of school (9th grade) and we went the next day. We lived somewhat nearby and had annual passes and just needed some kind of diversion. I was 13, so I remember it really well. Magic Kingdom was so empty and eerie. Not hearing planes was so weird. The lines were incredibly short - we could walk onto pretty much anything and there were openings at all of the sit down restaurants. It was so surreal.

I was going through some trauma of my own due to abuse unfortunately, so the only time i remember learning about it is when i was in 3rd grade and there was the picture with the fire fighters holding up the American flag at ground zero in my social studies book and we were learning about it. So all i know are second hand experiences.

I lived in California. I woke up to my mom crying on the couch in the dark. I was in third grade, I had just recently been skipped up from second grade. I saw the second plane hit the second tower, and I saw them both fall on live television. School was awful that day. I think my teacher got some bad news that morning related to the incident. The “bad kid” of the class was doing his normal shit, and she snapped on him in a way that is burned into my memory. She didn’t say anything mean or out of pocket. It was her tone and her facial expression. She said, “you know what?? ..not today! You will be quiet today, or you will leave my classroom.”

I started working for Disney in California in 2002. I worked as a Reservation Agent for the Disneyland resort. We had specific protocol for taking calls because there were threats for Disneyland and other large entities like it. Our building was even unmarked. We would go to a Business complex food court across the street and we were to remove our name badges so no one would know who we worked for. People would ask us what we do in that building and we'd just say we work for an entertainment company. Crazy time.
