On round 6 where yours measures 19 and a half, would it make much difference if mine measured 18 and a half? And if so, how would I go about fixing it? Would I need to add more increases? Btw this hat looks so cute❤
thank you! If you want to make yours the same size as mine I would do a few more increases - (4 dc, inc) for round 6. You can measure around your head to see if you need a different size too - my head is about 21.5 in / 55 cm and the 19.5 is perfect for me :)
Oh my God, thank you for this, i've been learning crochet just so i can make cover for my lightiny.b
are you chaining 1 between your rows?
oh yea for this one I start each row w a ch1
@@alinnacrochetsI figured just wanted to make sure, ty!!
I love it! So cute 🥰
@@angelkinney44 thank u 😘
Omg! This is so cute I’m going to attempt this right now, but I want to make jjongbear. I’ll be at the July 31st show! I hope you have so much fun at the concert!!
when doing the circles, when you’re done you chain own right? How do you close it? I’m scared it’s going to unravel
@@xsophlouey yes I always chain 1 after slip stitching then snip the yarn
My head is pointy not round like yours
@@user-ei4mo7ot1q this is a common when the tension is too tight so you can try a looser tension, or you can try to “yarn under” instead of yarning over. That often helps with the shape
@@alinnacrochets Thanks!!😁
@@alinnacrochets Also what would I do because I finished it??
MINE DIDN’T TURN INTO A BEANIE :(
@@L3M0N_0NP3WS what did it turn into 😭
guys i think i messed up it legit looks like a blje lemon send help im confused and scared😭😭
@@harpseal-b1l a wHAT 💀 if it’s turning into a cone in the beginning, try to yarn under instead of yarning over
ty for the tutorial!! made a san one instead but the pattern was super helpful to make the base around :D
@@SH4RK5S of course! 💜
Can I ask for a tutorial for a San version
@@anaflores7308 just do the same base but make triangles for the ears, theres tuts for triangles somewhere on ytb
@@SH4RK5S Thx
@@anaflores7308 hi I have a tutorial for the cat ears in my shorts :) you can screenshot the pattern on there too
I ran out of yarn help lmaoo
Thank you good person
of course, thank you for commenting 💜
@@alinnacrochets is it okay if i sell these at my market? I love this patern so much that i want to so can i ?
@@Szydelkarka_Zilix yes that is okay! If you share on social media, just credit @alinnacrochets as the pattern designer :)
@@alinnacrochets thank you so much i love you tutorials so much :)
Thank you for this video and written pattern! I watched a lot of videos of people showing you how to make tentacles, and honestly, yours is the best!! There is one that is way more complicated than it needs to be, another one where they make a chain and do double crochets all the way up and twist it with their finger to give it the shape. Who woulda thought there were so many ways, but in my opinion, your way is the best way for me, hands down!! Thank you!
Thank you! That’s means a lot to me, I did my best to make it easy. I’m glad it helped 💕
S O C U T E
Hi!! thank you for posting a tutorial! I just finished crocheting mine and it turned out so good!! :)
Of course I’m glad it helped! 🫶🏻
love the written pattern in desc <3 every time i make a bucket hat its either to long or too short... dont mind me just stealing a number😈 edit: holy cinnamon rolls i checked out your channel and its literally all things i would totally make im subscribinggggg
thank you sm 💕 happy to have u here
Uhh okay soo I'm working on this and it's kinda widening as I go? Is there a way that I can fix that and crochet it straight or does it correct itself when I finish it off?
That will happen a bit naturally but it shouldn’t be a huge change in size, just try to keep your tension tight as you finish
This was so easy to follow! Thank you!
of course!
4:58 this is just a reminder to myself of where I left off 😊😊
could you make some kittens 🙏
OMG FINALLY A NO SEW CAT BEANIE TUTORIAL. I CAN'T SEW FOR MY OWN LIFE-
I just made this octopus and I love him. Thank you so much for the brilliant tutorial ❤

Tysm! I love this pattern so much I’m definitely gonna make more and more can’t wait. I love this pattern so easy to follow!!!!! You’re a great teacher!!!!!!!!!! 🧶💗
can u do that a lil bit slower pls
shorts can only be 1 minute 😂 that’s why I included the written pattern 💜
@@alinnacrochets ok
so cute and so easy to do🥰
It’s so pretty!! Tysm! I wanted to ask something if it’s alright, can you teach how to make mingi’s plushie? I wanted to crochet it since I don’t have the money to buy,it’s okay if not. Tysm and keep the amazing and good work!❤
Hey thanks! And honestly Mingi’s is the easiest. The small piece is just 3 rounds of 6sc and the large piece is 4 rounds of 6sc working in the round. Then just sew to the top 🫶🏻
@@alinnacrochets alright, Ty! ❤️
Great pattern. Easy to follow. TUSM! ❤
I hope you can make the other members light stick cover too, thanks! 🤍
I’d love to. I’m working on some shorter tutorials with some other options for the ears :)
@@alinnacrochets thanks for working hard for the tutorials! (Actually I have a small business just really small I'm proud to be a crocheter)✨🤍
Really well explained, thx! <3
Ofc I’m glad it was helpful 🥰
Thanks for the easy to follow tutorial. My mushie hat turned out great!
Aww, so cute! You did a great job! :) 🥹
thank you sm 🥰
Why is my blueberry on the top being bulky not smooth??
❤❤❤❤
💕💕
I just finished making it, it looks sooo good. Thank u so much for this!!
Yay! You’re so welcome 🩷
cutee3
thank u 😚
whats the color of yarn your using ?
Crafters Secret yellow & red
THANK YOU SO MUCH IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A PATTERN FOR WEEKS
OMG i love this im left handed and still got it now im giving itto a newborn friend
I honestly love how responsive u are I really don't comment on things ever but u seem actually passionate about this and its wholesome af ❤
Oh what a lovely comment thank you 🩷 I am doing my best 😊
I just started getting into crocheting and it's been fun but when I use plush yarn it's always hard to tell where my stitches are whenever I try to crochet something with plush yarn. Do u have any tips?😭😭😭
use bigger sized hooks & yarn and bright colors to make it easier to see. It will eventually become muscle memory and you’ll be able to feel your stitches after a while
omg that’s so cute!!
Thank you!! 💕
Omg this rly helped me u don’t know how grateful I am😭
Yay! I’m glad it helped 💛
Thank you!! Everything is clear, I’ll try to make it soon)
Bro it’s not frilling
try to add an extra dc in each st
FINALLY! SOMEONE WHO ALSO DOES THE KNIFE HOLD
I never knew this is what it’s called so thank you for teaching me something new 😂
What I'm doing wrong that it's not taking a bucket hat shape. I keep getting a Is curled circle
It’s hard for me to tell without seeing it but my guess is that your tension is too tight, you could try going up a hook size and see if that helps. You could also try to “yarn under” instead of yarn over
@@alinnacrochets thanks I'll try that
Thank you You are such a good teacher I can’t find the pretty pink like yours I saw a neon pink Is that it?
Thank you Jackie! This color is called “Tropical Pink” it’s the “I love this yarn” brand from hobby lobby. But yes it’s really similar to a neon pink
Where do I start the Increase. Once I get the size I need?
So it depends on the size but if you are trying to make a bigger size, you can follow rounds 1-5 and then for round 6 I would continue to make 4 dc and then increase in the 5th stitch so you’d be left with 72 stitches total. If it’s a smaller size, you can just stop increasing after round 4 or 5, again just depending on how small
