Over 20 years ago I went to my favorite local bar to make amends with my best friend. We fought and hadn't spoke to each other in years...On the floor in the spare room of that shitty little bar called Sewickly's....A bar that used to be a Portland(OR) icon which has since been demolished was a single musician with his guitar. He had no band, he had no guitar pic, all he had was his lightning fingers, his beautiful blues voice and a cheap mic. The combination of making up with my best friend who I hadn't talked with in years and Ryan's obvious talent I bought one of his homemade CDs that I lost many years ago. This was before myspace, before Google was a verb, before any kind of social media. I dined out on that CD for 5+ years before I lost it. I shared it with all my friends and everybody loved it. I have since found Ryan on the Internet, thank God but unfortunately I'll never get that CD recording back. About 15 years later you finally came back to Portland Oregon and my best friend and I went to this concert. The irony is that during the recording you can see my cell phone recording Ryan on stage which I lost shortly after😆. Thank God I found this live recording online. Ryan Montbleau and the Ryan Montbleau band means more to me than you could know. Hopefully this message finds its way to you and the band. Please come back to Portland soon. Much love😎🤟✌️😉😌
