Here’s a quick description from online: SPORT Response Button In addition to choosing your preferred driving mode, the mode selector knob on the steering wheel features a button in the middle that engages 'SPORT Response.' This feature primes the engine and transmission for a surge of power and responsiveness for 20 seconds. Press this button for maximum performance if you need to overtake someone and want a little boost. To activate launch control you also have to be in sport response mode.

Yes, you're correct (I own a 981BS), I think it's due to stricter emissions regulations and the OPF filters on the newer cars. The 4.0 is a more special engine though, and there are good modifications available for the exhaust. Amazing car!

981 is definitely better (comparing factory specs)

I have a 981 S and also test drove a 4.0 gts, the 981 sounds way better and looks better to me.

@@tifosi7774 You must be referring to Andrew Tate. But no I don't own a Porsche. Instead I have a 458 and an R35. Used to own the NA 6.2L C63 as well. I'm old school and I'm all about big engines with more cylinders (8 or more) and high rev range. I think my R35 sounds like garbage to be honest with you.

@@tifosi7774 So no offence intended for Porsche owners. Indeed if I must pick a 6 cylinder engine that sounds the best, I'm certainly picking the GT3RS. 9000rpm.

When the scatpack first came out it was still labeled as an “R/T”. They still had 392 SRTs and then hellcat SRT. At the time Dodge still wanted the SRT line to be above scatpack trim. The scatpack I had didn’t have the adjustable suspension or 6 piston brembos. The only trace of SRT DNA it had was the 6.4 392. The engine blocks actually said “powered by SRT” instead of “392 HEMI”. I forget when they did it but dodge at some point merged the 392 SRT trim with the scatpack trim to bring it to its current form now.

@@tifosi7774 Ah…I see. I’m still learning about all the different trim lines and cross over trims Dodge has for the Chargers. I have a 2018 Dodge Charger Daytona 392. I’ve been trying to figure out what it is exactly, lol. Is it an SRT or just an R/T, I’m just not sure. My local licensing dealer pulls it up as being an SRT. I had someone this last summer at a car show describe my car as a Hellcat, without the supercharger. He claims it has all of the features they put in a Hellcat for that year. I just don’t know, lol. Very confusing.

The widebodys are pretty much srt i would say as they have the 6 piston brembo adjustable suspension the standard body are kinda rt with srt engine so pretty much a srt (i still call my standard 23 a srt say srt everytime start up on radio and on engine lol) but ye any scat and up is a srt in my eyes.​@tundrawhisperer4821

I could easily do 200 in my CLS55 if I wanted to but so much traffic here in Seattle it’s impossible during the day here and at night there will always be a car or two blocking the left two lanes
