Thank you for this message I needed to hear it. The most I’ve ever made in a year was 36k and have been struggling a lot financially for the past 6 years. I recently got a job with a base of 40k and can make another 50-100k in commission and I’m not used to the prospect of having that much as a single man with not much family. I don’t want to hold on too tightly to this eion and always thought having less would make it easier. As a result of not wanting to be fatalistic, I pursued these opportunities and don’t want to lose my way. I did think about the opportunities I would have to be generous and that made me happy. I’m more excited to see the riches waiting for us in the celestial realm and want to say your work in the evangel is great and so your rewards will be also!

My first initial reaction to "take hold of Eonian Life' is to think that I need to take hold of this Life, and if I don't 'take hold' of it, it wont be mine. But that is fleshy thinking. Eonian Life is gonna be given to those who are called, but we can take 'hold' of it NOW, TODAY. I think it's meant in the sense of: Why wait? Why not already enjoy Eonian life now? Why not relax? Why not learn more about the GOD Who calls us, saves us, justifies us, purifies us? Why not breathe in thankfulness at the Fathers heart? Why not thank Him through all my circumstances, knowing it's only meant to enjoy Him and Eonian life more through the Contrast Principle? So yes, let's grab that Eonian life today and live as humble members of the Body of Christ, awaiting our allotment that will SURELY come soon!
