@@buzzerking Thanks!
There’s those f’n bar spins commenters on your latest videos keep on about. Glad you’re sticking to unique stuff brutha. Do what ya like! If you were doing them, cool too. I’m just here to be inspired and happy seeing dope riding.
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 Thanks! I will.
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 I don’t see anything. Might be on a different thread I can’t see. Lots of secret cowards do that online unfortunately.
@@frankthetankct yeah no worries. I’m probably feeding it by even mentioning it. I’ll stop on that subject. Just ride, and enjoy seeing others enjoy the same passion. 🤝 🤘🏼😝 Later bro
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 Honestly, they say Yumi Tsukuda’s peg chinks are like the utter death of BMX in the comments but I think they’re great. If I can’t see what they said, it might as well have never existed.
Looks fun, I love videos that make you want to get out there and do this sh!t
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 My wife lets me out once a week minimum. Basically filming with a tripod is so easy now that I have no excuse. Making up for a lot of lost years, yah know?
@@frankthetankct yes I’m very aware. 🤣 My wife has a daycare so I go ride bikes with them, and play cops and robbers with them on bikes. I’m forever the same kid. I refuse to completely grow up. I rarely ever film myself. People assume I’m a bot. They look at my RUclips channel and go “wtf” where’s the content? I just ride. My accomplishments and failures are mine to deal with. I don’t like the comment sections sometimes. It gets on the mind and causes issues. Most people are decent, but those bad ones kinda suck.
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 Yeah I got some trash comments too. One guy straight up wanted to fight me for riding my bike down a slide. After that and a few other nasty ones I turned my comment section to strict. I also delete the negative ones. I like how on RUclips you can be a dictator in the comment section. No place for pricks on my channel.
The last trick seems sweet when it goes fully around . 😅
@@johnboygunsling666 It’s very satisfying.
Fun memories! I started racing at twin peaks when Fuzzy hall was racing there. I didn’t know he was such a legend then. He always gave local riders great interactions, and words of encouragement. First time I watched him race he was doing 360s Over the huge doubles, and can cans as he destroyed the competition. I started racing Motocross (motorcycles) after the eighties and got pretty decent. He showed up at a local motocross race to attempt it. He came right up to me and asked for pointers. I couldn’t believe he remembered me. Anyway. Beringer and Aitken were my next influences being from Utah. And holy sh!t! They were amazing too!
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 All awesome dudes. I met Aitken once at a benefit jam. Told him I wall rode goofy footed like he does, super nice guy. Also, I can’t get over that gap Fuzzy did from Road Fools. It was gigantic, and he was too close to looping out, but he made it. Beringer has that sick flip to sprocket bash. I like to do endo bb grinds like that one he did in Road Fools 8. Don’t even get me started on his Little Devil part…
@@frankthetankct love it🤘🏼😎
It’s funny how people think BMX is dying. That’s been said over and over as I pull out my S&M and ride constantly. My first dope bike was an ‘88 Robinson team series. I will always ride until I die or can’t do it anymore. I’m 48 and love this video and the riding is very unique. It’s got that Matt Beringer feel. Just absolutely fun!
@@slydwaysdrifter2159 Being compared to Beringer is a huge compliment. Thanks so much, I’ll keep it up 🤘

Sick edit. Been waiting on this one with the shorts teasers. I loved the whole edit, but some of my favorite parts were: 0:15 - always love a good crank flip 0:35 - that sign pole was like the perfect distance away for that 0:47 - might be one of my favorite tricks you do for some odd reason 2:40 - sick wall ride to 180, and the front wheel slide in the clip that follows is sick too 3:15 - perfect tire ride with the bar spin out, and nice slide save on the clip that follows And then the final clip - my favorite of all your stall tail whips that you like to do Good sh!t bro! Keep it up 🤙
@@MidwestRainstorms Damn, you pay attention. Thanks bud!
@@frankthetankctno problem man. BMX, skateboarding, skating, etc. are all about freedom in their roots. So I love seeing people expressing themselves through these athletic art forms, aka extreme sports, and being creative and original. I don’t like seeing carbon copies of the same tricks over and over from different riders. Each person should have their own unique catalog of tricks. This why you’re a leader, not a follower
@@MidwestRainstorms I appreciate that!

On the subject of no helmets.. Take a second to remember what happened to Scotty Cranmer
@@Tryppin This title was just click bait to trick haters into giving me views, but if you’re going to bring Scotty into this I’m going to change the title. He was wearing a helmet and still got injured though. Could have been worse without it.
Yeah I changed it. Don't need that kind of stigma.
In antiquity and even before our population-concentrated agrarian and industrial based societies founded on 'science' there has always been athletic endevours from humans pushing the boundaries and learning and progressing our 'limits' and understandings of ourselves. From primal cliff jumping for region access or predatory escape to extreme tree climbing for food, or even testing the limits of climates such as venturing into polar regions or death valley, the ocean etc - humans have come to value mindfulness with regard to safety but 'freestyling it' so to speak (helmitlessness, etc) has always been a neccessary and natural requisite of our progress amidst the process of learning and understanding our limits. So, what he is doing is natural and safe by some working definition given that the serious disciplinarian helmetless folk are more incentivised to experiment with and undergo the nuiances of learning the tricks for the sake of safety. Because it's all they have to rely on - is their keen and deep understanding and control of the manuevers - which can translate into them being more conditionally perceptive with requirements of the task of execution, probability and consistency with which they 'land' and 'escape' faulter of even the dangerous kind. So there are good and bad reasons for wearing and not wearing safety gear. It is always good to promote it I agree, but for those who excell and can learn better without it - we must respect their take should they have the intuition for success without it. Unfortuanately though it has become a superficial cultural trope to go without safety equipment whilst most skate and bmx disciplinarians are better off indeed using it - because they are not passionates enough about the discipline to justify confidence and probability in their statistical likeliehood of suffering a potentially serious accident. So most people should wear helmets I agree, but I would never argue with this particular rider about if he wants to go without it.
@@r.d.b.941 I appreciate that. I do wear one when I’m not comfortable with what I’m trying or riding. Particularly steep transition or dirt jumps make me nervous. I also wore one when I was learning in my younger years.
@@frankthetankct Same. I only wear one when if I am uncomfortable. The key is to always be honest with yourself about when you feel you need one. Always jump on that feeling right away, don't let it slip you by and escape you before you succumb to image, ego, peer pressure etc. Never risk your safety for image or reputation. As soon as you have experimented with the trick in question and are done playing with it for the day - take the helmet off and go back to your regularly scheduled programming. Just know yourself your limits and be honest with yourself. Btw I don't think or feel you need to be told any of this - I was telling the original commenter.

Dope how long do your rims last? lol
@@ilikepotatosverymuch Good question. The rim itself lasts a lot longer than the spokes. I tend to re-lace wheels after the spokes break. I can make the rim last years as long as I don’t destroy it by not keeping up with wheel maintenance.

Hell, yeah, brother! I'm a 50 year old skateboarder. I get it all the time from the general population. When cops throw me out, they are (usually) nicer when they see my age.
Im 37 and live in a town i grew up in that has a population of 1200. This and the 2 surrounding small towns used to thrive with kids riding bmx and had professionally built trails by a pro bmx rider. But i had to move back here from a big city 10 years ago due to a divorce. Im a rollerblader and it has got me through my whole life until moving back here again. Being a new father and a obvious adult I didnt wabna get any fines or be looked at as a weirdo. So i havent been skating and have for the first time in my life have developed bad habits.
