Yurt Camping at Bruce Peninsula National Park | Fall 2023

Last fall we went yurt camping at Bruce Peninsula National Park. This had been on our bucket-list for a while. With the chilly days in fall, yurt camping is the perfect staycation. Equipped with a wood-fired stove/heater, the yurt has everything you need from a propane grill, ample storage and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend doing this trip if you live in Ontario.

We spent a weekend at Pinery Provincial Park camping at Burley and Riverside Campgrounds. This quickly became one of our favorite provincial parks in Ontario. This park is also one of the best spots in Ontario to catch sunsets.

I visited Switzerland for a second time in 2023, this time on a work related trip. On my time off, I visited Lucerne, Engelberg, and the mountain of Stanserhorn. The Cabrio cable car in Stans takes you to the top of the Stanserhorn at an elevation of 6200 ft. During our week in England, we headed straight to the Cambridge, where we visited the Central Cambridge Mosque, the University of Cambridge and the Fitzwilliam Museum.
