Gran idea!

If you mean the super slow motion it grabs the last 3 seconds of video that it recorded. So in that mode when you press the record button it grabs the previous 3 seconds worth of video. It actually grabs the previous 3 seconds and saves that. If, for example, you press it at exactly 3 o clock it will save what it saw from 2:59 and 47 seconds up until 3:00 and zero seconds. It's a bit confusing so I'd just watch a few times and sleep on it and it will click eventually. It took me awhile to get it, too so you're not alone.

Yeah, at 960 fps the shutter speed is very short so you need lots of light for it to come out good. @@wedrivetheworld

@@davidnelmsesq Thanks man. Today I received this Sony Camcorder so I am looking forward to use it for my wildlife and travel videos, also including some slomo and high speed footage :-)

The only thing I can think of is that if you want to shoot in 4K you'd have to change the file format back to XAVC S 4K then adjust your exposure as you go. S&Q only shoots in HD. In my last video I was at an air show and I was switching back and forth without bothering with the file format. I just filmed everything in HD and was fine with that. I did have to readjust my exposure each time because the shutter speed is much shorter in slow motion.

I was hoping somebody from the fly-in could tell me. He was fine last year and he's a bit of an icon. Cute little fellow!

Yep - all AX700 on the video. Still shots with Nikon D700. That dog is at every airshow in Mineola but I didn't ask what happened. I do know that his family loves him dearly.

What I've always done is to focus on a spot where I think the action will be. Not sure what you mean by setting 1x but zoom and focus can both be set in advance. I bet you'll get some awesome footage!

Sometimes it's better but when you can't anticipate the action that's coming end trigger is a godsend.
