Oh no you shouldn't have gone to a general dentist, even I was about to go to a dentist but luckily my fren who also wanted braces suggested ortho so now we two are getting braces, she already got it yesterday and I'll get on saturday🙂

I just got my button brace off today 🎉

I just got my top metal braces 2 weeks ago. so funny I am an adult too and also work at a call center and just now I'm getting mine. I am regretting getting metal on top though I really feel I be more confident and ceramic. I'm going to ask my orthodontist August 30th if I can get Ceramics on top and take the metal ones off. If it's only two to $500 more I'll do it but if it's one to $2,000 more I'm just going to deal with the metal ones.

Great Vid, but lots of insurance providers cover a portion of the braces, if you have some you should double check! I have ins that covers a portion of my Adult orthodontics.
