I wish there were more of the younger generation continuing to make funk like this-I understand the bassist said he's been at it for at least 30 years, still, they all are young compared to myself(I'm 66), and I remember when funk was supreme; the movement is over but I hope there will be many others who will see the light and begin to pick up instruments again and begin to create REAL MUSIC like our generation did because I'm not hearing it from any of these younger cats nowadays... Everybody wants to be a rapper, and that's not the way to go about it if you ask me; it never was-was a grown man before the first rap record ever began to be played on radio stations all across this country, where rap then began to snowball, but I never cared for the genre because it in my opinion, never satisfied like music coming from a real group-and rap and disco, I feel, contributed to the demise of all real music. And this group is rockin' it; never heard of them before seeing(and hearing) this video today, but they're tight and I think they would've been a group to remember had they come along back when funk was king! 10-7-24.
