You talk funny
I just heard a train go south through Holts then Chapel Hill. Then one go north shortly after. 9 miles away. The kids are asleep here still! 😂 🤷♀️ Us old people here have all been out playing in it. 😂 (chores won't do themselves)
Awesome. Im stuck home. Glad to see folks out fanning!
@octoberdawn1087 yeah it was cold I was taking a risk because I just overcome a sickness so I could have got sick again so I risked it
It’s a hi-rail truck. They inspect the truck for defects and any obstructions on the tracks like fallen trees.
@mongo5392 yeah I know that I just call them csx trucks
Here's a simple recipe for making a basic cake: Ingredients: 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 ½ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp salt ½ cup (120ml) milk Instructions: Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round or square cake pan, or line it with parchment paper. Mix the dry ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Cream the butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together with an electric mixer or whisk until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes). Add eggs and vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Start with the dry ingredients and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix). Pour the batter into the pan: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Optional: You can frost the cake with your favorite frosting, like buttercream or cream cheese frosting, once it's completely cool. Enjoy your homemade cake!
Utah Crossings are very busy, and I miss going to them.
And other videos of locals and mainline runs like BNSF

Great boundries!!! And the great thing about boundaries is if you change your mind while you're traveling, that is totally alright as well. Airports are super cool places! I don't know if I could handle going to an airport today without wanting the film 😂😂😂 Even if I restricted myself to a disposable camera for photos only. It was a million yeras ago but I was actually 13 the 1st time I flew... i was alone 😆 12? hours flight with plane changes. I do find it difficult to understand what's going on around me all the time no matter where I am, but I did it!! And i was young, same age or close. That was the hardest part. But you have other people that will do that for you. Cool. Just remember that folks drive and ride in cars all the time and have no fear even tho we do not have nearly the training a pilot has. Right? You trust your mom to drive right? Shes awesome, right? Pilot's got you, too! And they get paid a lot of money to make sure they do it right. I would be so excited to be able to be up in the air and look out the window. The perspective can seem so strange. But its awesome. I do recommend something like gum or something to chew because the ears can get all clogged and it can be a little uncomfortable. But since ya already live in a higher altitude than sea level, I think you'll be good! It's fun at the beginning on the plane when the attendants do the whole bit about the seatbelts and the exits... Do not let that freak you out. It's actually really cool because they do it just like on tv. You'll notice that there's some people that won't even be paying attention. If you get nervous during something normal like turbulence, look around and see what the other people that are used to it are doing. They're probably rolling their eyes or sleeping. 😆 And yeah airports are just all around really neat places. Don't be hard on yourself if you bend your boundaries a little at some point because... you've never ever done it before!! Or maybe? Ooohhh.. heads-up. Its gonna be neat! YA'LL GOT THIS! Whoo-hoo!! Have fun!!!
Thanks I appreciate it
I just asked my boyfriend & is telling me about how the rails have dates. That's one of the fun things about checking the tracks. They used to be jointed and now they make one continuous long thing. He said he assumes there are still dates on them. Another cool thing for me to look out for! Thanks!
@@octoberdawn1087 oh ok your welcome
Oh! Also those cheap fitted gloves from the Dollar Tree - cut the index finger tip and the thumbs tip off (or whatever part you use to touch) And it's really helpful when having to hold the phone outside while it's cold. I've even doubled up on them... but they can make the phone seem slippery. The key is to have the fingers that you use on your screen free.
Haha!!! That is awesome! You distracted me and now i'm learning about these three commemorative locomotives. 😂 1. "The Spirit of our Armed Forces" CSXT 1776 OperationalCamouflage 🦂 (acurate Scorpian W2? Not sure. Its not my thing) That's the one you saw 2. "The Spirit of our First Responders" CSXT 911 - Fire Engine 🚒 3. "The Spirit of our Law Enforcement" CSXT 3194 - Cop car 👮♂️ From CSX's page: "The Spirit of our Armed Forces has been renumbered CSXT 1776" "CSXT 1776 combines the CSX dark blue and yellow colors on the front of the locomotive with gray camouflage on the sides and top. The paint scheme celebrates the five main branches of military service and features the CSX Pride in Service logo along with the logos of the program partners - Wounded Warriors, Blue Star Families, Operation Homefront and Operation Gratitude." 🚂🦂🚂🦂🚂🦂🚂🦂🚂
Have you figured out what the extra mast signals are actually?
@trainmancolt22711 no I haven't
What do you think they are actually for? Just curious to ask you.
@trainmancolt22711 probably pedestrian crossings for pedestrians or so people couldn't go around the gates and get hit by a train
Is that a slug? (I'm still learning the fancy stuff) 😂
@octoberdawn1087 I don't know what that means sorry im still learning
NICE!
WOAH
You made us go outside 😂😂😂
I mean, not cool for traffic, but cool catch AND informative on what to do. Cool!
Left the door open for mom to freeze 😆 give her a hug!!! Cool night catch!
I swear they show off 😂😂😂 I pull up on them there to get some idle. Onetime a train started making all kinds of noises. I just pretend he's showing off for us 😂😂😂 I don't get on foot there personally, I've been eyeballed once when I pulled over to do GPS but no one was rude or anything. But the last time, the cops showed up, 1 squad, 2 other cars, with lights on, all around the engine, so I went elsewhere. THAT was the one time I was one foot for awhile but I was parked at a store and only walked down the neighborhood roads. I never even crossed the tracks.
@octoberdawn1087 oh wow remind me to never park there ever again
OK latest update.I just watched both of the Grinders go north out of Holts Corner. I got a honk!😊
@@octoberdawn1087 oh ok
I wonder if today is busy. I didn't hear train all day yesterday obviously. I havent heard any after wednesday afternoon. I'm too tired tho 😂 Did u catch one on Thanksgiving!?!?! Cool!!!
@@octoberdawn1087 yeah
@@braylonldyer57347I think they're supposed to pick back up tomorrow morning. There might be a lot to catch tomorrow, when ??? How long will it take to get back on track to get them running? I know they were basically suppose to hault Wednesday at noon & then they clocked out at 11pm or something like that. I imagine theres alot to be done, maybe to pick up quick tomorrow? Hopefully! We were in C.H. & Holts this morning for a few hours and didn't see any. Going back 2mrw for sure
@octoberdawn1087 ok thanks for telling me I appreciate it
The grinder has moved up the Holts Corner area. I just saw it. Saw a NS engine today but i barely caught it. @@braylonldyer57347
Nice!
Are those new signals being put in or are they taking them out ? It looks like they are new and not hooked up yet.
@ocsrc no still the old signsls not sure if they are taking them out
That was pretty ballsy.keep it up
It sounded like 82 mi an hour to me
It's still there 😂
I'm so jealous.I was stalking that train all afternoon and I got tired and drove home. I was sitting right there yesterday waiting for him to start up again 😂😂😂
@octoberdawn1087 oh yeah I hate when that happens
I got a lot of footage of what he was doing up until he stopped. This is so cool that you got him up and moving!!! I do upload some of this stuff.I just haven't gotten done with those yet when the Grinder was in town. This video is cool. I've already shared it a few times with my friends who saw the footage from earlier. 😂 I was like, "what!? Yippie!" 😂 @@braylonldyer57347
I'm editing footage of it now 😂 I caught some major wobbling going on over there last week.
