My beautiful workplace and coworker/Quicklube
Good afternoon. I am contacting you as a specialist. I want to connect the front camera through the camera control unit to the standard multimedia system. The rear camera is also installed natively by the factory. I can’t find the pin on the AVN connector for connecting the monitor activation wire. I read on the forum that they connect pin 25 in the B connector. And I also can’t find a fuse or power supply from turning on the reverse gear on the AVN connectors and in the fuse boxes. Can you tell me? Hyundai Kona 2019 1.6 T-GDI. Best regards, Dmitry.
One way to tell if the coupler is bad is to pull the awd fuse. If the weird popping noises/binding feeling stops, the awd coupler is shot.
Bruh an air hammer for a rotor 😂 you’re joking
Hello, I have a Kia Sorento, the 4*4 of my 2015 model vehicle is not working and I am getting the following error codes on the computer: P1823, P1822, P1827, U0123, P1832 please help me.
На хундай Санта фе 1 поколения подойдёт в место вязкомуфты?
Profi.
Are there aftermarket shocks?
If the camera is broken and still plugged on the electric model, can she short other composants ? Can they bug because of the camera ?
Lol Been there!!
So expensive and they are trash
Does this fix the problem 100% ? Sounds like a acary dangerous situation lol thinking about getting this car but idk lol
My head gasket it blown on my 2008 hundai Sante Fe, can I get it replaced?
Can the self level shock be replaced with non self-level ones? There are zero dealerships willing to say non self-levels will work because it's "not what came on the vehicle". I refuse to pay $900 for a set of shocks I shouldn't have to already replace in the 1st place.
In my own opinion, for me its ok to replace it with regular shocks. As long as you can find the right kit. You might experience some changes on ride but if you wont bother by that it should be fine. I have 2007 escalade with air ride and i convert it to regular shocks. But self leveling is great they’re just pricy.
@@funrgunrhey I’m in the same boat. How do the new shocks look? Is it really 1.5 inches lower in the rear now? Thanks
@@John-j2u9e so I followed some bad advice from another forum where a guy said the KYB-3440061 made the car sit about .5” lower than stock and that the KYB-3440062 were 1.5” longer and worked great on his car. Totally didn’t work. I bottomed out the shock as soon as I took it off the Jack. I even removed the bump stock and it still bottomed out. So if you were to do it I’d go with the original length (61) model. As far as shock comparison the auto leveling shock is much beefier than the non but the top nut and bottom mount are identical And you “can” use the original bump stop or they are cheap to replace with the non auto leveling ones if bought online. I ended up discovering that only 1 shock was bad and found one of a wrecked palisade with 20k miles on it off eBay for under $300 so went that route
@@funrgunrI respect this opinion
@dasme8673yes. Same exact shock. It has both logos stamp on it even. They are like toyota and Lexus or gmc Sierra and Chevy Silverado. Almost all parts are used on both models
Judging his attitude I wouldn't want this kid working on my car its shocking
Kia and Hyundai are piece of crap cars. Stick with Toyota and Mazda!!
Yikes..
When you see a crank bearing cap fall out, it's usually not a good sign.
Nothing a little jb weld can't fix. 😂
Need a new engine
After you replaced it, how do you know it worked? There's no verification through Hyundai that it's turned on or off.
If it stops making weird popping noises or stops feeling like it is binding up in the rear end.
Hi everyone, i noticed that my air hammer damaged the quick coupler retainer, i noticed today that air was leaking throughout the quick coupling connection. I have one spare 360° swivel air conection, shpuld that be enough to damper the vibrations, or there is a legit solution for this problem?
Did you not need to hook up the computer to the car ECU after the change? You need to enter the new mileage, and the clutch needs to learn for the change? Otherwise, you will have constant AWD Dash light ON.
You dont have to. But if you have dash light on you wanna hook it up to gds or computer to clear the codes after repair then reset the adaptive values.
@@Tech_86 there is no error codes. but the light is on. doesn't bother me:)
@@Tech_86 hello sir i have error code p195800 with my kia sorento 2023 4wheel drive it tells me AWD-Bleeding Pressure Error Pending what should I do please .❤
Not necessarily needed.
You can get the same tool at harbor freight for $120
The “same.” Buddy Cheif brand air hammer doesn’t even come close to the same spec as the Matco get fucking real
What about the people rear valve cover gasket??
Did u have to replace shock mounts too?
What's the part # to buy
Would that be the same for 2020 Telluride?
Better yet if that hammer had of shattered you would be walking with a cane ,nice safety glasses dummy!
This is exactly what happened to my wife's 08 Santa Fe. Oil leaked from the gasket and fried the alternator.the vehicle died in the middle lane on the highway and dam near caused a bad accident
How much were those shocks and where were they purchased from ? I need to replace mine but I dont have warranty.
Dealer only $562 each
Which one you think is better for Diesel applications, long-barrel or short-barrel?
I’ll go for long barrel. Perfect for heavy duty task.
Long barrel for sure
Cual sería la capacidad de aceite y tipo de aceite para el coupling
My 23 Palisade have noise some where from rear side like something is bouncing or rattling on bumps and its bumpy rough ride. Dealer change right side shocks and after a week or so its making same rattle noise. Now i have to fight again with dealer to look into this issue😢
Lmao usually I just get a good ol hammer and give it a wack and it comes right out
Even with precision, you could miss a swing and damage the rotor and that won’t be good if you’re not replacing it. If you are replacing it then let her rip
Did they explain to the customer what is covered and what isn*t ?.
I hope so
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏now how did that happen, ?
That got to be a GM 2.5 worst engine ever made.
Please tell me they drove it in
That's a brand new engine inspection port.
Customer was right.
Hey @Tech86, is there anyway you could tell me what the component that is next to the camera you are replacing in this video? I am calling it the Trunk release switch but I am wanting to replace that because the plastic that is on the button on my 2019 Kona is breaking and cracking from wear and tear so I am trying to find the part to replace it. Your video showed me how I need to get to everything. Thank you.
That is Liftgate garnish or liftgate finish panel. I hope this will help.
What mileage did this happen?
This one is in between 45-50k.
@@Tech_86 ahh alright big thanks for your response!
Seems to be a reoccurring issue Hyundai should fix. Happened to our 2020 palisade around 50k.
Good morning, I have an Equinox, the coupling has been the same and it makes the same error.
Cómo se llama esa pieza????
How to take care of this awd coupling? I Have Palisade awd and has been change this coupling under warranty, so can you share how to take care of this Part? Because Im worry this part gonna be fail again someday. There is no leak when its fail
Yah sometimes no leak when it fail this is due to unequal size or over size tires. When you use an incorrect or mismatched tires there’s chance your VC will fail. I’ve seen this before when I replaced VC, customer replaced one tire only at rear and this is the result.
@@Tech_86 what about tire pressure to high? Is it made VC fail?
Let AWD auto work. Try to never use AWD lock especially on dry pavement.
What are the symptoms of a rear coupling gone bad? I have a 2014 Sorento AWD. It recently started “thumping” in the rear end when going into and coming out of a turn. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Base on my experience common symptoms is when you make tight turns or you did u-turn you will experience shuddering or vibration coming from rear end or thumping noise like you said. I recommend to get an experienced mechanic to verify this issue.
Hola tengo el mismo problema como lo solucionaste?
@@Tech_86 I noticed this happening with my summer tires on but when I put my winter tires on, the issue went away. The winter tires are new and all the same brand. My summer tires were all the same size but different brands, front and rear! That little difference was causing my problem. Something to keep in mind with AWD vehicles.

Isn't the harbor frieght cheif air hammer made in the same factory as matco? Or was that someone that was just dogging on bigger brands
