hi! we know this is an older video so we don't know if your personal thoughts have changed since this, but we rewatched this recently and we wanted to express our opinion on your point about the structural dissociation theory and the age at which DID forms because we personally disagree to an extent with the point that was made. we think the idea that trauma has to happen in a very strict age range - and that if a child is just a little bit older, it's now "too late", is kind of problematic. it's important to remember that the structural dissociation theory is still just a theory and has not been proven. this isn't to say it shouldn't be acknowledged at all, but we also shouldn't rely on it as hard science when it simply isn't. there's a lot of nuance to the affects of trauma on a child's brain and we believe there can be many other factors besides just age that can play into the development of DID, especially something like a child's developmental age vs their chronological age. we're not saying age doesn't matter at all, but we do think there needs to be some nuance. the idea that DID has a strict age range at which it starts developing like a carnival ride has strict height and weight rules just feels kind of unrealistic. this is important to us because we have seen other systems online be invalidated for their experiences because their earliest traumatic memory happened just a little bit later than the theoretical age range, which is very hurtful and unhelpful. of course this is all just our opinion and you can take it with a grain of salt, but we just wanted to share our personal thoughts. we hope this doesn't come off as rude, we struggle with making our tone clear, especially over text. cheers!

There’s a channel called ‘Cinema Therapy’ where a therapist (who has experience with systems) and a videographer sit down and discuss Moon Knight. They both agreed that because switching usually has no visual indicators, it could be hard to show when exactly the switch occurs. It’s more of an artistic compromise in my and their opinion.

She is problaby a little child, says my therapist, who met this part a view times now. Can the childpart build a connection by recocnizing with my therapist after they met each other a view times?.
