i finished the sky trilogy and zero before bro uploaded part 2

For my money either this or the Loewe fight from Sky FC is the hardest in the Trails series, having played every game up to Daybreak I. For most of the other "hardest" fight candidates, there are ways to cheese them with 100% dodge tank strats or other broken specs. But at this point in Azure, you can't force the stats that high and you don't have access to great equipment.

Any Trails in the Sky the 3rd appreciator is a good man in my book.

Can break most trails game. If AI will only attack anyone who is in range vs someone who isn't in range that it'd take them multiple turns to get to and attack. Basically build one person to be tanky and set the formation to where they'll only target that person (may need your first turn to further separate your team; and the only threat are enemies full screen attacks or s crafts. Basically one dedicated tank and ranged damage for everyone else and you almost never have to worry except for niche boss fights. Both times not seeing Tio here was like well that's why (unless she's unavailable at this point in the game? idk it's been a few years. only real change ups are when it's Fie and your tank can be your best damage at the same time (that was busted lol fie can solo cold steel 2) and whether it's physical or evasion tanking (usually strats physical until you can stack more evasion later in the games, minus kuro no kiseki they nerfed tf out of evasion)

I have no clue why you would not just fill up your cp right after beating aeolia before beating lynn in the first battle and instantly do your combo attack even if that was your plan but at least you are more determined than me to not spam arts XD

I played this on Nightmare and wasn't expecting this trial... the sheer trauma made me forget how I beat it. I think I used some zeram powder/capsules

This fight sucks even on normal. The combination of AOE status, stage-two debuffs, healing/res (Aeolia will res Lynn at roughly 66% HP btw), stage-two buffs, respectable AOE damage, and deathblow all by chapter 2 is genuinely crazy regardless of difficulty mode. Also based Ys and Sky 3rd enjoyer.

you should be able to buy evergreens at that point in the game which would allow you to make Lloyd have at least like 70-80% eva so how i normally do this fight is by just making them aggro Lloyd and then have tio and elie spam spark dyne on them while randy is just spamming s-crafts.

Liking Sky the 3rd is a based take. People really underappreciate how much it does for the series.

To be fair, the Trial doors in Trails to Reverie are harder.... especially the very first one. Hope you are ready to take on Rixia and Shirley as superbosses.

This quest is a hidden boss fight, i just grinded levels and kept retrying until i defeated them (on hard mode). Losing would probably more true to lore given that the SSS were still a fledgling organization at the time.

only things that really bothered me with Trails in terms of difficulty was prologue in sc (analeace and estelle just ain't the move to only have 2 party members) 2 of the optional win fights in azure (if you lose you still progress but get extra w/e the hell the equiv for bracer points was in crossbell), and the final boss in azure. Everything else was ez clap

i Played through Azure in Hard and also had a hard time against those two, they're on a whole other level compared to other "Kick Random NPCs Asses" we usually see. Try to defeat Lynn frist since she deals the most damage, Aeolia shouldn't be too much of a problem alone if you've got Sleep Resistant Accesories.

What's funny is I recently just did this side quest and got destroyed and now the RUclips algorithm recommended me this video. I still feel the pain of losing to Lynn and aeolia I'll go back on my second playthrough

I hate to break it to you, but I can think of at least 1 other DP requirement that will be harder to get. Because there is a fight that has a real-time 5 minute time limit. It took me like 2 hours to actually win and get the bonus DP, and I was playing on Hard, not Nightmare. The game still progresses if you lose and I think you can still get max detective rank without the extra DP. It is probably the worst bonus requirement in the series and I'm glad they switched to turn count for timed bonus requirements in later games.
