You're never too old, my grampa is in his 70s and he is still shredding the slopes.

Luckily I started about 18, now 36. But being in Scotland, we no longer have an indoor slope unlike down south. So it's restricted to one, maybe two weeks abroad. I used to bung holidays on credit cards and try and pay off through the year. Now I'm in a job where I can afford maybe 2 trips/weeks a year. I'm addicted to snow, it gives my mind some release. Even when I was 27, I was in a dark place and planned my exit from life, I said to friends that snowboarding was the only time I didn't think about ending it all. I watch snowboarding videos in summer. I listen to playlists from snowboarding dvds over the years. Your welcome to join our group trip to Italy in January. 😂

I totally get you. I started snowboarding at 40 and I'm completely hooked, it's my happy place it's where I feel free to be me express myself and gives me a huge feeling of belonging. It challenges me gives me huge rewards when I achieve what I'm trying to do. If you evever fancy a trip give me a shout I've already booked 2 for December and Jan. 🤙🏼

Started at 34 and it was the best decision I ve ever made.

I'm an instructor. The oldest people I've ever had on a beginner lesson were a couple in their early 60's. They had skied before though, but I was so scared I was going to break them. Blew my mind at the time. Anyways, glad you're into snowboarding. Its the best thing in the world. Have a quote that made me laugh. "People think I'm rich because I ski. But I'm actually poor because of it."

Love seeing Jimny's in all their various forms, especially when people are camping in them! I've gone for an internal bed set up. I'm a shorty so i can fit inside, plus I could never get the roof tent up by myself lol. Really nice video.

its good training, but will feel much different on snow as you have to watch your front edge or youll end up in a scorpion

i started at 28, had 3 seasons now. Personally, I cannot recommend bataleon boards enough for starters, that 3BT is amazing for not catching an edge and such a confidence booster! it will make everything except hard carving easier, learning to confidently ride switch could probably be done in a day with 3BT. Also rails are less intimidating because of the elevated contact points. For the record i have a evil twin, but I'm more focused on small butters and M-L jumps, a disaster would probably be better if your focus is rails and big butters. Also i have a garden with trampoline & switch trampoline board. makes you get used to the legs being stuck in one position in air and balance it during the summer. I understand why you got clew gear considering you're new on the scene and with all the influencers pushing it out there, but you seem to have the flexibility to be able to strap in standing up, so I'm sorry to say, there's much better quality gear for you to chose from out there. clew rabbit hole. Enjoy the journey and progression mate!

Great video mate! 👏🏻 just got myself and ‘06 JIMNY and for now have just stripped out the backseats and put a solid platform down in the back with some hooks for securing stuff down with bungees- but your set up has definitely inspired me to do more with the space! I know you mentioned you don’t have measurements for your back set up- but any extra guidance on materials used or even rough cost (to factor into the budget) would be mega! Otherwise- Beautifully shot video, stunning location- thanks for sharing the links in the description as well! 👍🏻

Ericeira is a very special place. I came there by hitch hiking and was planning on staying only a couple of days. Ended up staying 6 months and coming back for another year. Absolutely love this place. <3
