Seen the doors in 1968. What's that Veterans Memorial Coliseum during the fair. After the concert the band rode the tram across the top of the fairgrounds to the other side. The whole way they were shouting lewd remarks and spitting loogies. The news had a field day the following day.lol they were asked to leave and never come back. But Soon forgotten they did come back. Then sadly Morrison decided to become a member of the 27 Club. Only other band we seen that year was Iron Butterfly at the ASU Activity Center. 🚜🤠🐂

All Pink Floyd albums are drop the needle track one and let it play out, as are albums like Supertramp's Crime of the Century, Jethro Tull's Aqualung, any Elton John in the 70's and the list goes on.

Sitting in the dark , early hour and NO eclipse! . at the end the voice of the doorman /bouncer Gerry O'Driscoll was " there is no dark side of the moon really ,matter of fact i'ts all dark( the only thing that makes it light is the sun") you can't hear the last part . Music being blocked on the internet is why i have a record player and CDs . I have been looking at Sonos and Bose for a 5.1 thing in the sales coming up. i have the DSOTM 5.1 disc and ziggy stardust .Thanks for not stop starting as i never listen to those!

The thing about watching a live Rush song here and there, is that they played and kept that energy for 3 hours every night, playing 25-30 songs. I saw them 5 times on this tour, and each night got better and better. They are/were a unique band, committed to reproducing their music to the highest standard, yet still very playful on stage as to relate to the causal fan. They remain, and will always remain, the greatest rock act of ALL time.

The Rio one is missing about 2 minutes of Alex's solo. Extremely shortened version. Travesty, really. The Cleveland show is missing a pretty good chunk of the solo, too. Check out the studio version for the full experience.

I bought my first Pink Floyd album in 1969 (Ummagumma) and saw them live in 1971 and 4 more times after that. For me This is the BEST band of all times. Now I'm 71 years old and still listen to them everyday.

There is "Music" and there is "Pink Floyd". They brings you somewhere out of your mind! 50 years ago Pink Floyd were already 200 years ahead of everybody!

The initial working title for the album was "Dark Side of the Moon", but was briefly changed to "Eclipse: A Piece For Assorted Lunatics", after Pink Floyd got wind that the British blues rock band Medicine Head had also named its 1972 album Dark Side of the Moon. Once the Medicine Head album came and went with no chart impact, however, Pink Floyd decided to go back to the original title. "Brain Damage" is definitely about mental health issues, and at least another of a few songs inspired by the loss of Syd Barrett.

for this I had to change my sound into mono cos I couldnt hear the otherside the right side sax came in very low I could hardly hear it. in mono I could hear it.

Yes you are correct is turning crazy is about Syd Barret who went crazy in a concert he began playing one note only for 10 minutes after that he was admitted to a lunatic house. Dark side is a album dedicated to him.

This is hard rock Rush at its best. Though their later efforts get all the attention, their first album is an under-appreciated gem. 12/10.

Alex is a monster in the Cleveland version! And they applied the same energy to that song after they brought the tour to Europe. There will never be another band like them 🎸
