@@WafflezCoasters ya but sometimes you can get away with spinal track using solid micro knex pieces, otherwise you can find rlly cheap used knex in bulk

What was the issue if you don’t mind me asking?

@@WafflezCoasters recently with my chain launches the chain has been snapping or not fast enough, with a cable drum the pressure shouldn’t be directly on the chain

@@coastersnsuch That is exactly what my thought process was, because my old way of doing it broke the chain way too much. So I attached the rubber bands to a drum and then the gears linked the ratchet to the drum. That allows for all of the weight to be on the gears instead of the chain! I revised my design a little, it’s in my recent shorts but I will make a dedicated video for it soon.

There is a setting called wait time that is automatically set to 0, if you change it to 3, it will wait three seconds and launch!

I had a rod (the one that stopped the train) connected to the middle of a white piece (8 way connector) and I had a orange connector used as a lever so that it would release the train when stopped by the original rod.
