Thanks. I still enjoy looking at this. We used to see a fair amount of grizzlies on the Stewart-Cassiar section and this was one of the better ones. It was the second week in September and if memory serves me right it was a bit north of Bell 2 but less than halfway from Bell2 to Iskut.

@@SandyChristie That's fantastic. Thanks for sharing that with me.. I'm also interested in exploring the Klappan Road heading east from Iskut. Such a wild remote area eh 👍

Thanks Nat. Glad you enjoyed it. The lake with the cabins where we used to make base camp is now under different owners and they don't allow access or vehicle parking. Where we used to take out farther downriver ( River hunt for moose in Northern BC-1995 ) was an access road that has now been denied access to by the local Indian band. There are a couple of spots further downriver and upriver where some people launch but we never used them. A couple of my friends still hunt up there though I haven't done since 2003. They stay at a friend of ours who has a cabin on the river and they make base camp and launch there.

:) Sorry Nat. You will have to do your own footwork on this. As I mentioned, I still have friends who hunt there so I'm not about to post on here where it is. Lots of rivers to choose from in northern BC and if you are serious about it you will be able to find one that will give you some terrific moose hunting. Good luck. Are you heading north this year?
