I was soooo confused, but after watching for a bit, it dawned on me that the reason everything looks so dark is because of the lack of lighting on your face. When you moved your hand to the camera, you moved your hand into the light, so the color swatches were more true. I've seen and/or used many of the colors you showed--and I have dark coloring, too--but they look totally different in real life. Get some light on your face when you are filming!!!
