I’m listening to all DD2 BGM for the first time and man is it amazing. I played all DD2 with DD1 for nostalgia, but mannnn I gotta do another playthrough with DD2 music.

This is my first time ever hearing this theme, I’ve played the game with DD1 BGM the entire time. But man does this griffin theme clear the OG. Doesn’t sound like a generic mob boss, sounds like a climactic battle. Haven’t played the game since I beat it but might pick it up and replay with DD2 BGM this time.

Encountered the first one way too early as part of Gregor's quest and had NO idea how hard they were. After around half an hour of being ragdolled and one shot I managed to beat the quest by carrying him away from the fight

Definitely a monster hunter type theme

I never encountered the dullahan until the unmoored world post game. Scared the fuck out of me and absolutely kicked my ass. I won by only a tiny margin with my explosive arrows

I just fought a chimera for the first time. I was gonna run because I thought I couldn’t fight it, but then one of my pawns called out that they were down and I heard this start up. Absolutely demolished the thing, was bashing its head in the entire fight and kept it locked in place

People who want to shit on this game's soundtrack for having no soul and identity are trying real hard to ignore this piece.

Pls tell me i am not the only one who ears the Dahren/Jihren Morhan theme in this one

The game is really one of those games where you have to just sit back and listen to the music and enjoy the scenery. St Frangelico cathedral, Rosa Isabelle street, the street after the Opera house with the depressed puppets.. the music in this game is just perfect. Really wish it got more credit at goty awards but no matter.

With this soundtrack... YOU'RE the hero... but with the DD1's version YOU'RE THE ARISEN

I felt like a force to be reckoned with after i killed the walker with ease. i broke her knife, and her sword, then i stood under the light in the middle of the room, and just let the feeling of victory sink in.

It was really tough playing without a dodge button but with a huge sword, but it was a journey nonetheless

I’m glad they kept this theme, but I’m still really bummed that Eternal Return didn’t come back. That was the real theme song for DD.😢

i am so disappointed that i never realized this but i have my doubts still at 00:52 to 00:57 ...there has to be a better transition or real version of this

I see alot of hate for this version compared to the original in DD1 but i feel they both are very good just different emotions are trying to be drawn out. DD1 feels more intense, like you and your team against the world. no matter the danger fight on. DD2 feels more cinematic, like the coming of a chosen one or triumph of heroes.

What a downgrade

I actually had no problems with the boss, parrying came natural. Much harder for me was fat clown - mad clow puppet. But the soundtrack is badass.

Everything about this game is masterful. It's elevated as a work of art to me. It's a cut way above most and by far my favorite souls game.
