As a long time PPop supporter I must say MNL48 deserves more recognition. I know how much this group struggled just to make a difference sa PPop industry and open a new era of OPM. Noon, mga OPM soloist lng ang palagi mong nakikita sa mainstream. MNL48 came in and at that time sila lng talaga ang ppop group na nakikipag bardagulan sa myx chart until they found a competition with IVOS and BoybandPh. Influences coming from Jpop and Philippines being obsessed with Western and KPop style of music, the group struggled to establish their place in Philippine music industry (up until now). At that time SB19 was already active but had failed to enter the mainstream. It was MNL48 supporters and Aurums (origin of A'tins) who promoted their Go Up MV and dance rehearsal video until nag viral which catapulted SB19 to stardom.

Naiiba talaga sila sa PPop. Bright personalities at ang galing mag MC.
