Baade Adventures
Добавлен 14 окт 2012
These are some of the adventures that Greg, Linda, Mitchell, Kelly, family and friends have experienced. We plan to document our travels, trips and adventures. Linda and Greg are currently Caravaning around Australia, flying home each Christmas for as long as it takes.
Caravaning and sightseeing the Margaret River area, WA
There is a lot to see and do in the Margaret River area. We stayed at Glenbrae Gardens for $25 a night that we found on Wikicamps. You need to be in a van with your own power and water source, and the gardens and green grass are amazing. They supply a toilet and a shared camp fire. We explored two caves, the beaches, walking trails, wineries, parkrun, markets, The Berry Farm and Leeuwin Lighthouse. We loved staying at Margaret River. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanningaustralia #caravaningadventure #everythingcaravanandcamping #westernaustralia #travel #adventure #adventures #wikicamps #vanlife #nationalpark #nationalparks #margaretriver #vassefelix

Caravaning at Busselton, WA
Просмотров 732 часа назад
Busselton is a beautiful seaside town south of Perth that is the owner of the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. We stayed at M&M Bush Camp that we found on wikicamps for $30 with power, water and use of a shower and toilet at the back of their home. We enjoyed Cape Naturalist and the local beaches. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanninga...
Caravaning at Mandurah, WA

We only had one night at Mandurah but we managed to fit a lot in, we tracked down 4 of the Giants which were amazing. We watched the kite surfing and visited Lake Clifton to see the Thrombolites. A quick visit to Pinjarra to walk their suspension bridge then back to the van to pack up by 10am. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanningaustralia #caravaningadvent...

Caravaning at Yanchep National Park, WA
Просмотров 11014 часов назад
We loved Yanchep National Park staying at the Henry White Oval Campground for $20 per person per night. The facilities were amazing. There are lots of hikes, caves to explore and wildlife to watch. On Sunday we had a beer at the Tavern and listened to a live musician. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanningaustralia #caravaningadventure #everythingcaravanandc...
Caravaning at Gillingarra Town Oval visiting Gingin, WA
Просмотров 125День назад
We found this cheap camp on Wikicamps, $10 per night and we had the place to ourselves. The birds and wildflowers were beautiful. Unfortunately the wind noise had to be hidden with music and we couldn't just have the bird calls. We also called into Gingin for a look around. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanningaustralia #caravaningadventure #everythingcarav...
Caravaning at Moora, WA
Просмотров 143День назад
We travelled to Moora to participate in their parkrun. Dave the Run Director was very friendly and welcoming. We found all of the people of Moora to be a very friendly and we enjoyed exploring the sights. The town very generously allows you to stay in a 3 day RV stopover area for free. We made sure we shopped locally before we moved on. #freecamp #freecamping #caravaning #caravanning #caravanca...
Caravaning at Guilderton, WA
Просмотров 14214 дней назад
We enjoyed our stay at Guilderton Holiday Park. Dan a Manager at the campground was very helpful and went above and beyond to see that everyone enjoyed their stay. He gave us some tips on things to do during our stay. We put the boat into the estuary but didn't have a lot of luck with the fish or the wind staying calm. There were heaps of birds and a very peaceful stay. We also had a quick trip...
Caravaning at Ledge Point visiting Lancelin, WA
Просмотров 11414 дней назад
We drove into Lancelin but couldn't get into the caravan parks so we had a look around and then booked into the Big 4 at Ledge Point. Lancelin is popular for the sand dunes activities, boating and fishing and Ledge Point for the boating and fishing. We enjoyed looking around both towns. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanningaustralia #caravaningadventure #ev...
Caravaning at Cervantes visiting the Pinnacles, WA
Просмотров 12621 день назад
We really enjoyed Cervantes. The overflow camp ground for $25 was great value with beautiful amenities. We must thank the towns people for allowing us to stay there. We visited the Lobster Shack, beautiful Thirsty Beach, Grey, Hangover Bay and the Pinnacles. The Lobster Shack and the Pinnacles were our highlight. #caravaning #caravanning #caravancamping #caravanningadventure #caravanningaustral...
Caravaning at Jurien Bay, WA
Просмотров 15521 день назад
We stayed at the overflow camp at Jurien Bay Sport and Recreation grounds while we explored the area popping into Port Denison, Leeman and Lake Indoon on our way in. The drone took a flight out to the outer islands which showed why this area is called the turquoise coast with the beautiful blue water and white sands. We visited Green Head, Sandy Cape Recreation Camp and Milligan Island Camp Sit...
Caravaning at Gladstone Bay, WA
Просмотров 168Месяц назад
We had a week at Gladstone Bay, WA and it was beautiful. We loved the ocean views, wide open spaces to camp, Artesian Bore hot showers from a tin can and boating when the wind allows you to. The flies were a little friendly but you can't have everything. When it was windy there were no flies. We saw two emu's on our departure and popped into the Gladstone Bay lookout to check out the view. The ...
Peron Peninsula Camps, Shark Bay, WA
Просмотров 145Месяц назад
There are 4 camps on the coast on the way to Denham in the Francious Peron National Park, Whalebone, Fowlers Camp, Eagle Bluff and Goulet Bluff. Each one is $15 per night per vehicle, with a 24 hour maximum stay and campers have to be self contained. The road is an easy access dirt road which you could take a 2 wheel drive vehicle on. Numbers are limited so get in early with the Shark Bay Disco...
Dirk Hartog Island
Просмотров 144Месяц назад
We had an amazing day at Dirk Hartog Island thanks to the lovely crew from Island Life Adventures. The day starts with a boat trip to the Island and then a 4WD tour to see the other side of the island with views to Steep Point. We saw swarms of Nervous Whale Sharks, the blowhole, cliffs and sand dunes. They provided stand up paddle boards, canoes and plenty of free time to swim. Lunch and the G...

Caravaning at Exmouth and exploring Cape Range National Park
Stunning, living the dream
Haha thank you. WA never fails to impress us.
I think if you both are sick of damp/stormy QLD, I can you you guys moving to Jurien, Hillary’s, Rockingham/Mandurah or Busselton 🤣👍🏼🍻
Haha we could move to any of those spots!😁
hahaha love to hear you say our exit and entry road onto the freeway, go on, give it a go Mandjoorgoordap
Haha we had trouble with Mandurah!😂
cheers for sharing :)
Thanks for the visit
Looks like you’re having a ball exploring around. I was going to say Madura is in WA side Nullarbor It’s pronounced Man- drah, but you said it close enough for an Eastern stater towards the end of the Video 🤣 Similar to the Easern staters when in WA for Telethon 🤣👍🏼🍻
Haha it is hard for us Eastern Staters to get some of the pronunciation right.😁
Nice video, have not been to the caves near Yanchep Like the Koala’s, Kookaburras aren’t native to WA either, they were introduced in 1897 to try keep the snake numbers down, but they are aggressive and take over WA natives such as Blue Wrens etc No wombats either
Wow I didn’t know that about the Kookaburras. Interesting.
We live in Alkimos. love this area . planning to visit the caves. thanks for sharing.
Wow Alkimos is beautiful. You are very lucky to live there!
can i give u a little advise ? the vid was ok but the music in the back ground was to loud.
Thanks for the feedback.
Check out the space stations. 😉
I love adventures
Haha we do too!😁
Living in wet and windy Wales your videos are a total joy, fab filming again
Haha thank you. We loved Wales when we were there in the 90’s.
Good fishing there. 😉
Yes it is.😁
What a serene getaway! The ocean views and open spaces sound like the perfect escape. Even with the friendly flies, it seems like such a memorable experience!
It really is. Thank you.
Stunning sunset and sunrise
Thank you.
great video
Thanks Michael. Hope you are going well.
Ahhhh how nice that we found you on youtube, it was an amazing day indeed, nice impression, greetings from us, dutchies, Sylvia and Judith :-)
Haha so nice to meet you guys. Hope your Aussie travels went well.
Thanks, what a great idea for the day.
Thanks Terry.
What an incredible adventure!
Haha it is an amazing place.
Such a beautiful country. You really capture the environment so well Linda. I feel like I’m there
Thanks Tritto. It is certainly beautiful.
life began on that river
Trish the manager is a legend. She has been very helpful and accommodating (pun intended) to me over a few years now. It's a 'no frills" place but that's why I like it. It's a great launching pad for your trip out to Steep Point or Dirk Hartog Island and you can leave your van there for a modest fee. Take your own potable water.
Totally agree.
Piss the dramatic music off
Thanks for the feedback.😁
Hamelin Pool looks absolutely fascinating! I love how you highlighted its rich history and the Stromatolites-such amazing ancient lifeforms!
Thank you. We learnt a lot there.
Ok, thanks, we will next time it’s hard to find good free royalty free music which I think was the problem.
Beasley river more attractive $$ wise than Cheela Plains, $88 p/n is a bit rich!
Haha true.
Stunning video
Thank you very much!
We paid $30 A night for unpowered
Thanks. Did you like the spot?
HI LOOKS REALY NICE PLACE 👍 $40 A NIGHT ? HOW MUCH WITH NO POWER OR WATER ? 👍👍
It is a beautiful spot. Sorry we didn’t ask that. However looking at WikiCamps it appears to depend on how many people are with you.
I've noticed when I click on the like button i.e. thumbs up it doesn't record or count my like. Happened on the last few posts of Baade Adventure's. I'm a regular watcher. Cheers Mike.
Thanks for the heads up Mike, I don't know what is happening but I'll look into it. I appreciate your feedback and your likes, thank you.
I had a subscription privacy button on. I've taken it off to see if that was the issue.
We are remote at the moment and about to turn off Starlink. Thanks again for the feedback.
You really need to half the music volume… makes it hard to watch !
Stunning,
Thank you. It is amazing.😊
What a country you're so lucky
Haha it certainly is a beautiful country we live in.
Beautiful scenery
Thank you.
Great video guys - we are heading that way next week so great to see what to expect and looking forward to it.
Thanks for the feedback. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Absolutely spectacular. Very envious
Thanks. We loved it there.
Thanks for the video, will be at Daly in 3 days 🤞🤞🤞
Thank you. Hope you enjoy it.
Great video. There would be worse places to breakdown. 2 weeks here waiting for car. One thing about the 3 way roadhouse, is VERY relaxed. Owners and stuff , they go out of their way to help you out.
Yes the staff impressed us as well. Very friendly.
Great video. Unique place.
Certainly is unique. We loved it.
What a coincidence to come across your great video. Was there that night staying in a room for work in the area when Scott woke me up around 1am with a drink in hand. Fire near telegraph station and heading north. I went back to bed bothered by being awakened not by the fire. It was miles away and fires are the norm in the NT. Was surprised to see in the morning, the travellers had evacuated. Hope you got some sleep in the end.
Haha we did get some sleep that night thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
do not understand Aussies, i drive deep into the bush, I take a pick n shovel, you'll never see where I stopped Aussies are never happy unless they have 20 other vans near em driven 56 lands all over, in France i throw up a tent, usually by a crystal clear stream bah here it is just gumtrees, more red dirt, throw 200 diesel in the wagon, day after day
Nice 👍
Thanks Chris.
Great job showcasing a beautiful spot.
Thank you. We loved Karajini. It is a beautiful part of the world.
We passed that last year after Cheela plains, It looked a good site, saw your review on Wikicamps too , thanks 👍
Thanks.
Revealing these places only encourages more traffic/waste/humans/noise to these places. Nothing good comes of it. Please stop and help us protect these spots. Keep them to yourselves.
Thanks for your feedback 😅 @crab-bait
The video goes for 8.35 minutes, I forgot to trim the music so it goes black after 8.35 minutes, we've trimmed it online now which we haven't done before and it said it will take a few hours to process, fingers crossed this will fix the problem. We appreciate you getting in touch with us, thanks again.
Oh no. Thanks guys. We will fix it now.
HI guys. Something seemed to have gone wrong with this one. Black from the intro onwards.
Looks so peaceful out there
Is the road sealed all the way from mount garnet to hughenden?
Hi yes from memory it is sealed all the way.
@@baadeadventures thank you 👍
Beautiful share 👍✨️💚✨️
Thank you!
