I have the same problem, could someone tell me what it is?

Same issue with my dcs570. According to my knowledge, it's the trigger that needs cleaning the terminals from inside. If there's something with moyor or anything else, that means when you press the trigger, the led should always turn on. But here, the led only turns on when it runs, which means terminals are dirty.

Soooo after some extensive searching its the bearing is shot

I found the motor terminal soldering was the problem with mine

I think you need replace the bearing

Seems like a skill issue to me.

Maybe it is the battery, does it still do that with a dewalt battery?
