A master piece specially the story was amazing

In my entire gaming history (I'm 50) this is one of the only games that made me scream out loud. My wife found it hilarious. I had to stop playing for the evening each time it got me. It did hit differently. The other game that made me scream was FEAR. I'll never forget that creepy little girl.

I don't know why DOOM 3 is such a black sheep to DOOM fans. I loved this game.

DOOM 3 was peak. DOOM 2016 was better from a technological standpoint, and is itself a great game, but it's completely different. I really loved the claustrophobic level design and more deliberate and tense pacing of DOOM 3. It was probably because they were pushing the graphics engine as hard as they could as far as textures and lighting, which is why rooms had to be small and the number of monsters onscreen were low, but it had the effect of creating a great atmosphere and experience. With DOOM Eternal, every knob is cranked up to 11, but at the same time by not having to compromise on anything it starts to feel bloated by the end, and I was bored with the over indulgence in lore by the end as well. Still a good game and I'm still excited for the next Medieval looking DOOM game but I really wish we got a good sequel in the style of DOOM 3 with modern graphics.

I would like to see a remaster of Doom 3 honestly. Or we could have another horror based Doom like Doom 3. Isn't this the one with the different Doomslayer?

Doom 3 had it's own atmosphere and style, they should have kept this type of doom and improved on it through sequel's.

More than different, it was superb and just as enjoyable today as it was when it was released, even better in VR.
