Taking a ride to Middle creek dam or wheeling creek dam no.7 as it's officially called. Good trout fishing at headwaters. Catch and release/delayed harvest area. It stays cool enough to support stocked trout through the summer for a delayed fall harvest if you must. Then halstead hill towards home.

You get a bill of sale and a production number , in Virginia I took it to DMV, they had the State Police examin the trailer and then gave me a serial number to attach to the trailer , it isclisted as a home built trailer
Thanks for sharing your new toy with us. These are awesome trailers. I think they are perhaps the best available that you can buy ready made without going to a metal fab shop with your own drawing. I have been wanting one for some time. Hopefully this summer I can make it happen. I live on Vancouver Island where they are made so it is a little embarrassing that I have yet to order one. Sadly the cost is somewhat prohibitive & the wait time for delivery is painfully long, even here on the Island. BTW, I'm sure someone else has pointed this out to you in the comments already but, you installed the shock upside down & the main pivot bolt for attaching the hitch to the frame of the trailer is also upside down. If you aren't aware of this by now, it would be a good idea to correct this oversight. Cheers!

Someone stole my dyke to..turned out it was another woman lmao😂sorry for being immature, seriously though iam interested in the trailer for honda adv 160 but iam not seeing on kip site that option, and looks like i might have make a trailer, also think i might scrape that fender, also might not want those wing screws on hitch to the rear wheel so tight might not move up down
do they make them for road bikes ? ive got a roadking and i travel with my 90# 17 year old pitbull and space is at a premium. we managed but it'd be nice to take some more crap, like a bigger tent.
the trailer is the same for all. the only difference is the "hitch" that connects to your specific bike. contact kipmoto.com he is the manufacturer and see if he makes one. thanks for watching!

It looks so good man! I wish I had that kind of talent. You totally took a blank canvas and created an amazing adventure machine from it. I love how you set up the beds and interior so it can still function as a good little toy hauler and still have the capacity for camping too. Well done!

You have fitted the shock absorber upside down and the pivot bolt should be the other way up with the nut on the bottom

maybe next year we can hook up. I’m coming up to Sandy Ville West Virginia to meet up with another rider. I got one coming out of New Jersey and I’m coming out of South Florida. We’re gonna run west next year all on the new 2024 KLR adventures, and we all intend to buy the same trailer. We’re going to go out and do a tour of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and hit all the grand parks and stuff. Stay in touch brother.

Does this need to get inspected for a licence plate?
in west virginia, trailers don't need to be inspected. i haven't even attempted to have it licensed. to do that it needs a vin number. but before that, you have to have a state trooper look at it and verify that there is no vin. then apply for a title. i personally am not going to bother with it. but you do what you feel is right. thanks for watching!

I’ve got one that I use on my DR650 and T7 for moto-camping in the PNW. I literally take everything out of my panniers and put it in the Action Packer on the trailer, I really forget it’s behind me..

I miss the old steel bridges. Rode this every morning on my bicycle when it wasn’t raining. Left at the Flagg to the Mariner Farm and back. Sometimes I’d come back Stone Church. What a ride!

Thinking of getting one myself, thank you for the video. SherpaX web site says the are taking orders for the next month, when you ordered yours did they tell you it would take 8 months to get the trailer?
he didn't say it would take 8 months but, by watching joel's kip moto youtube videos, i sorta figured it would be at least six months. my suggestion would be to order it for the $50 down. because, when he gets to your order,he'll email and ask if you still want it. giving you an out if you change your mind. remember, communication is non existent. until he's ready to. thanks for watching!
They can’t even afford the extra $5 for a box and proper packaging. Shrink wrap it like 20 lbs of contraband, no wonder border patrol cut the wrapping.

Everthing nice , except for the connection point to the back tire, on the way vibration could press the trailer down from the bolts, i guess it supposed to have one or two pipe from up top to secure the weight, because what ever we put in the traile half the weight will be on the connection point , am i right?
never thought about that.... there would be weight "torquing" at the bolt. looks to me as though i'm at the mercy of the swing arm strength. on the other hand, the trailer weighs 30lbs (13kg) and camping gear would max at 60lbs (27kg) (what i carry in a backpack) i feel confident it would hold up without causing issue. i watched kip moto ride a motorcross track with it and hit jumps! thanks for watching!
I have 34,000 miles on mine , on mine I have a bolt going through my rear axle . At 20,00p miles I had to replace the bolt
I came to an understanding that connection is just right at all, ı misunderstand it. If this company would be here ın my country ı would buy one for sure.
@frankadelaurajr9655 thats some impressive mileage! i'm embarrassed to say i don't have 34 miles on mine let alone 34k.
Only constructive criticism I have is, I would put that long bolt that holds the fork of the trailer down from the top. If the nut loosens the bolt may not be as likely to come out.

@@wvadv I was thinking about it, but at $1000, it's a bit over my price for something I'd only use a couple times. Nice setup, though, but I'll stick with my trunk and saddle bags unless I decide to go on a long journey to faraway lands.

I like having a run like that where you can go and practice some fundamentals and get better. Every year I try to get a bit better at the power slide/drift game. Only low sided it once in the gravel so far, lol. Cheers buddy.

this is a hare krishna community. the swami broke away from the original in india. back in the 70's they started acquiring land and began construction. mixed feelings from the locals. things went sideways in the eighties. a book was written called "monkey on a stick" detailing the ugly. won't go into it here. this is in the northern panhandle of WV. thanks for watching!

Good job getting down that incline to the lake. I know the camera never truly shows the steepness but I could tell it wasn't as easy as you made it look. That lake looked prime for some kayak fishing for sure too. Seeing that, and hearing the KLR engine, has me super eager for spring brother. Cheers.
you got that right. it is actually the boat launch ramp! they expect you to back down that thing. we've had the canoe on it plenty times.
