    Love Charlie’s message to be all inclusive, it doesn’t happen that way everywhere. That is very unique for this loving congregation. They are the Best. The music was so well performed. Love Bobby’s enthusiasm on the drums. Loved Meredith testimony & her & Anna’s beautiful voices singing His word. So love & appreciate the other guitars & keyboard players who collectively bring it all together. All the practices at church & extra hours at home show such dedication to bring extra joy to the congregation thru His word in song. We all appreciate you. And for the wonderful & considerate work of Greg. Thank You & Appreciate You. Hugs. Thank you all for serving our God.

    You absolutely DO have something to bring, Your Obedience to your GOD... Proving your Love... "...1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous..." OR you can be and act Selfishly and not OBEY your GOD... "...Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men..." Your Obedience shows "Faithfulness" and "Loyalty" to GOD... "...Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Mal 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Mal 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not..."

    The Part "They" are leaving out... Words from your GOD... "Deu 11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him..." Did you read carefully... For IF ye shall diligently keep all... OK, What did The Messiah have to say about it... "...Joh 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death..." Again did you read carefully... IF A MAN KEEP... Some more Words in Red that are relevant here... "...Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God..."

    I'm going with 'no'. The _only_ evidence is third-hand accounts of what someone might have seen. Oh - except Paul, maybe... But he didn't witness Jesus' death, and only claims to have seen him (famously) on the road to Damascus. Rising from the dead was a common addition to a lot of stories in that time and place, but we do not really believe any of the non-biblical accounts - why should we accept the biblical version of the same story?

  • @Phylaetra
    @Phylaetra 3 месяца назад

    The wages of sin are death - but so is the salary of virtue. All people die. I notice that you ask about people of other faiths, but what about people of no faith? Do you think that no-one has morality without belief in some religion? And you even skirt around the question of other believers. Ok - so... It sounds like you agree that people of other religions can be good. And even devoted to the god(s) they believe in. But that their religion then somehow fails because you believe a certain mythology. Just because. I mean - Ok, but why should anyone who does not already agree with you accept what you say? And are you ready for the implications of what you are saying? That acts are _nothing_, only belief counts. Again - I _get_ that's what you believe, but why should anyone agree with that? just because it's written in _your_ book? In the system you have laid out, only Christians - however terrible they act, as long as they sincerely believe - are 'saved'... From what, again? ------------------------------------ What about people who never get the chance to hear about Jesus? I would also ask, what about those people who are not given any good evidence to believe what you are saying about Jesus? Why do people who have 'faith in' Jesus (and what does that even _mean_?) get a pass for sin - if all sin is effectively equal, and all people sin, why is the pass given based only on faith instead of any acts at all? What about people who have faith in some other thing and have - again - not been given a sufficient reason to change their mind, even if they have heard of Jesus? And I think it is important to keep in mind that you believe that your god is _capable_ of giving us all completely unambiguous evidence, and is even willing to do so (for example, to Thomas). So why not make it plain to all of us? And really - the world has heard about Jesus. If that story is so obvious, why doesn't everyone who hears it immediately adopt it? How can anyone turn away from it? Perhaps it is not so clear and obvious as you think. Again - this is not to take away from _your_ belief, but to point out that Paul was probably not the best authority on how to share faith with others. As well as not really knowing any more than anyone. Now - at 22 minutes - you change from 'believes differently from me' to 'chooses to pursue sin'. That's a bold statement - is the devout Muslim choosing sin over believing in Jesus? Or does he think his direct devotion to god (his idea of god) is more true than whatever you are trying to tell him? What reason does he have to accept your version of reality over his own? Is his rejection of Christianity truly a desire to 'pursue sin', as _you_ put it? If that is the attitude you bring when talking to people of other faiths, you are going to have an uphill battle trying to get them to believe in Jesus. (Pro-tip - don't start your discussion with the assumption that the other person prefers sin, it's condescending and insulting). ------------------------------------- The 'noble savage' or 'virtuous pagans' - whatever. First point - there are tribes that do not believe in any god at all. So - you start off assuming that people will believe in _some_ kind of god, which is simply not true. You tell a story about a guy who visited Ukraine - you realize that Christianity has been in Ukraine for over 1,000 years. It's not like anyone there hasn't heard about Jesus. What about Mormon missionaries? People respond to them as much as they ever responded to Christian missionaries (note - members of LDS consider themselves to be 'Christian'... Do you?) People ask these questions, but you don't actually answer them. -------------------------------------- So... What about the Problem of Evil? You didn't even get to it.

    So that evil will be destroyed for all eternity!!! Long post alert, btw😊. 6000 yrs of evil able to do everything it can think of, 1 to try to deceive as many people as possible into the Lake of 🔥, as well as, 2 to try to wipe out the people of God, as well as, 3 to try to undo the judgement of God upon them. 1, they (fallen angels/demons/those already sentenced to the lake of fire) want to deceive us, because they hate us and want to drag US to the fire with them, from the hatred they feel for being sentenced to the fire themselves. 2 The fallen angels were allowed to be "gods" of the other nations, and the Hebrew/Jews suffered genocide attempts many many times, Christians too. The fallen angels have tried to wipe out the people of God several times, because it would make the Word of God incorrect, which is not possible, therefore represents a great victory for them if they could achieve it. They will not. 3 Trying to undo the judgement of God upon them. Fallen angels use their physics defying craft to abduct people and perform hybridization experiments. Last time it was thru intercourse preflood, now at the end times similar to the days of Noah, it's done thru super advanced science and technology. Yes, I'm talking UFOs! They are crossbreeding for the purpose of extracting the "image of God"-ness from us, to put inside them, so that they might be able to receive salvation, repent and be saved from the Lake of Fire. They are trying everything they can do to try to get out of God's judgement on them, because they are terrified. The evils that they committed were beyond grievous, they brought the judgement on themselves. They were supposed to watch over us, but taught people to murder their neighbors and take their stuff. They taught us to hate each other and to deceive and fraud each other. They had gigantic hybrids that tyranted over us and then ate us like livestock when the food ran out. After babel tower, they inspired the nations they ruled, to be barbaric savages willing to sacrifice their own children alive in fire. I now understand why alters to the pagan gods, even if it's just a statue, are disgusting. But, because the judgement was so heavy and severe, the question of fairness would come up. So, i believe God is allowing them to do things, in order for the proof of their actions to be recorded concretely, to show that the judgement is infact, righteous and justified. Which it is. The 6000 yrs, is the "prequel" to the story yet to come, ie, Eternity. There will be NO sin or evil in eternity, for eternity. So, that no form of sin may arise millions of yrs later, ALL sin will be dealt with during the "prequel". It seems to me, that God is allowing evil to do all that it can do to win Eternity, to power up all the way and use all its power and ability, only to STILL be defeated, and crushed absolutely. So that no form of evil, however small, will be left out in the judgement, being done away with for all eternity to come, that unimaginable peace and joy and companionship with God will be the nature of reality in the new universe to come. Amen! The 6000 yrs, is the prequel era, where evil is completely destroyed for all eternity. All people have original sin, and all have willingly sinned after the age of accountability, therefore by God's universal laws, we are sentenced the same way as the ones who taught us how to sin better, the fallen angels. It makes us legally susceptible to being pawns in the game, as it were. Not to mention the fact that HUMANS HAVE OFTEN INVITED THEM IN AND PREFERRED THEM!!! For heaven's sake, it's the tip top secret parts of the biggest governments, that met up with the "aliens" after WW2, signing a treaty with them, allowing them to abduct citizens for experimentation, in exchange for technology (Roswell). They literally asked for it! Offered up their own people as payment! All in all, things have to happen, so that they can be dealt with completely, and humans are legally susceptible to being pawns in the overall bigger game, but the length of time needed for all evil to be dealt with, is being balanced out with being only a set time period, and after that it's done, because it IS evil upon people, so it's merciful to get it over with. It's done for the sake of our lives in the new heavens and earth, for ever. Also, God is merciful and long-suffering, thank you Jesus!!! He blessed us with our needs and many of our wants. He teaches us truths that benefit us constantly. God has healed people, and heals people still today, from the worst things. And then, to top it all off, God, who made the law, made us a way out of our due judgement (which the aliens/angels seek desperately), by sacrificing Himself, in the form of His Son, to pay the blood debt needed to pay for sin!!! For all people, for all time!!! Jesus be praised, amen!!! Free of charge, we have our ticket into eternal paradise! He loves us SO much that he gave the life of His Son for us, so that we can live eternally in peace, joy, rest, delight and companionship with God. No more pain. No more tears. No more random accidents. No more failure. The rewards and the happiness that are to come, are NOT EVEN comparable to the sufferings of the present age! They will be blown out the water by the greatness of life with God, so much, that it's not worth dwelling on the sufferings of today, to the point where we will be SO overcome with joy, that we won't even think about it anymore! Thank you Jesus!!! So the guy in this video gave 3 statements, questioning the nature of reality, concerning good and evil, and I gave 3 responses as to the withertos and the whyfores. Then, 3 counter/adjacent points, then a rant, hahah😅. Some people may feel a certain way about it, but I believe that my overall argument, is why the world is the way that it is, and that my points are biblical. Thank you Jesus for giving your life a ransom for us, for our sakes, that we may be with you for eternity!!! May you be praised forever and ever, amen!!! And if you actually read all the way down to the end here, then thank u, and may God bless u greatly and watch over and protect u in the times to come. May he bless ur family and ur property and ur animals, may he bless ur finances and ur creativity, and may he ever dwell in ur heart and mind, giving u convicting feelings in ur heart to do his will. May we meet each other at the resurrection when Jesus comes back, and may we praise God together in New Jerusalem!!!

    Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: Matthew 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Matthew 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. Matthew 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Matthew 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Matthew 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. _Jesus sown the good seed. Right after the enemy came and sown the tares among the good seed._ _Good seed = the four Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John._ _The tares were sown then after._ _Everyone knows Jesus came and sown the good seed. And everyone knows who came right after Jesus and sown much seed intermingled with what Jesus had sown._ _Many people (instead of following what Jesus had sown) insist upon following that which was sown after Jesus._ _But Jesus said to follow him._ John 10:27 *My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:* John 10:28 *And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.*

    Nice video! Hey, I'm your 1st like and comment to this amazing question. Since I have not studied the bible or read it in years, I am not an authority, but since the bible is the only book I've read in the past 50 years, and since I love to write hymns for God, and one called THE BIBLE, Imo God supplies me with discernment and knowledge, so here's my answer to this question. :) A certain ruler asked him, 'Good teacher or master, what must I do to inherit eternal life?' 19 Why do you call me good?' Jesus answered. 'No one is good--except God alone. 20 You know the commandments: 'You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.'' 21 All these I have kept since I was a boy,' he said. 22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, 'You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.' 23 When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy. 24 Jesus looked at him and said, 'How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! 25 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.' We must first bare in mind here as you say, this was Pre-Gospel, time and still "Under The Law." The man's question was loaded with issues that doomed his salvation here, because Jesus knew he was not broken and ready to repent of his prideful spirit or ready to be converted and Born Again. We are born again, when we BELIEVE Jesus is our Savior. Imo, the Key word may be "Inherit." Since he had inherited his wealth, he thought he was also entitled to inherit eternal life. Jesus got into the LAW discussion, and said, you know the commandments, and the man said, all these I have kept since I was a boy. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, 'You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.' Imo, Jesus knew he had not kept all the commandments and added one more trying to break his pride hoping he might yield to Him and admit he was a lost sinner. Jesus might have offered him "Old Testament" Salvation", and to "Believe that HE is the coming Messiah," but because Jesus knew the man's prideful mind, and he would not believe and receive Him as messiah, He did not offer to save him here. Sadly the man walked away lost here, but on a high note, he still has the potential to be saved later. I've run out of time, but I'll update and edit this discussion later. Thanks. :)
